1994 Chaos Dwarfs
Hi, I am painting up a Choas Dwarf team, I will call them "Black Tower Bengals"..
They are all old models, with the odd conversion here and there.
The team is not quite finished yet, but this is pretty much what they will look like..

Added some green grass to the bases... Would like to find some larger maple style leaves to put on there as well..

They look very nicely painted, even if for some reason the pictures appear a bit small on my screen!
What's your method for those shoulder pads? Trying to do some Nurgle myself in a similar colour and interestex how you did it ...

Re: 1994 Chaos Dwarfs
Thanks!
I think you have to click on them and they'll be full sized?
The purple on the pads and hats and whatnot? It is GW Liche purple. No shade, ink or anything. Highlighted first with a mix of purple and GW Dawnstone (grey). Then I add another layer of purple mixed with white. On the highest surfaces I add one more layer with more white mixed in.
Each layer of lighter colour must be smaller than the previous layer..

I love them. Quick, simple colour scheme that is very effective and not too 'gaudy'. I'm not sure about the bases, but shouldn't be a problem on the new board size.

Thank you!
The bases are from Warmachine. I think they are 30mm while the new bases from GW are 32. The bull centaurs fit nicely on the 40 mm bases and they neatly fill out the squares on the new blood bowl board.

The models are beautifully painted. I think bases are too big for the static dwarf pose and they will roll back and forth when you place em prone. Let us know what happens. Also a beautifully converted centaur.

Thanks!
They are okay, they don't roll all over the place!
I am working on one more hobgoblin right now. After that, Grashnak Blackhoof and a couple more dwarfs!
