Blood Bowl at sea, part three (eight more parts to follow, including Mermaid Cheerleaders and Dolphin-Bowl)
I got my MM mag 7 issue last week. I was surprised that i got this one at all without calling ...right now i´m missing 2 of 5 WD issues of my english subscription 2003! After a lot of emails i was promised, GWMO will send me all WDs of this year again... but not including my missing January Issue! Just great ! :pissed: Well , i will keep the doubles for about 10 years and than make big money... hahahaha. :smoking:

I agree with Galak, to much space for this very special artikel.

GW mail order hates me... I can just imagine some underpaid troll switching off his headset & yelling across the room: "it's the friggin' kraut again! And this time he's paid for a subscription!" (all-round laughter ensues) "That dweeb! Is he really thinking he'll get what he paid for?" "Oh boy, he's in for a surprise!" "I just hope he dies!" "I just hope he pays us some more money first!" and so on and so on. Man, if I had my way, I'd have all of them... uh... have to resort to mail order for all their gaming needs for all eternity. Yeah, That would serve them right.

Hmmmmm... if this is true, it gives one some idea about what kind of drivel would yield to his command...

Nuffle is an illusion!

Yup, but I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MAG! Am I the only one still waiting? Perhaps GW customer service is an illusion too

phil wrote:ok, so you're telling me that the half a page that actually covered new racial wizard rules was worth the investment....

it just seems to me like this is the _official_ bb outlet, in theory it should have the choice of articles, fluff, and new art... they're filling what, 32 pages every other month? and they come up with what, maybe 2 or three pages in each issue worth the read...

maybe it's the fact that the three people who make this magazine have too much to do, maybe they don't do a good enough job of petitioning for content, maybe bb just doesn't generate enough quality material on the whole... i know that when i used to subscribe to warmag, it was actually a vital suppliment to the game, and a thicker magazine at that... bb mag just sucks.

maybe it should be quarterly... maybe they need to farm out editorial duties to one of the fools who'd do it for free and spend 10 times the time on it... maybe we're just stupid enough to keep buying it, but being bb fans, we'd buy jervis's empty soda cans if they had a bb logo on them, so i guess that could explain it...
I feel that comparing Warmag to BBMag is comparing apples to oranges really. The Warmaster rule book only has rules for 6 armies. Since that time they have more than doubled the number of armies in the game as well as adding new units for existing armies. The game started off in a more of an infancy stage. The Magazine has been vital to the growth of the game.

Blood Bowl, on the other hand was more or less "complete" when the LRB was created. New rosters and new official rules are going to be few and far between. This makes filling the magazine worthwhile new "official" material rather difficult.

Having the magazine switch to quarterly publication has some positives to it. However, I would be concerned that GW would interpret that as dwindling interest in the product and consider dropping it all together.

i'm not asking for official rules, i'm just asking for something that i'll actually bother to read... att his point the most compelling thing in the mag since issue 1 has been the reprints of all the old lord borak segments that've been up on ant's site for three years...
