German BBowl Players

Post by Nopiltzin »

Hi there, I am finally breaking my silence
Greetings to all of you!!

After many months of reading posts anonymously I decided to register and take part in this frenzy

I came along many posts written by BB-maniacs in Germany and wondered if any of them come from Duesseldorf or the vicinity?

Greetings
Achim aka Nopiltzin

Welcome Nopiltzin

There has been recently a good german topic around:
viewtopic.php?t=5697&highlight=

in which you'll find other well known german coaches.

Hi Nopiltzin,

greetings ;o) to a new TBB Member.

Just one point of note (as you could not know). I would advise you to change your avatar. It could bring some confusions because Sputniks avatar looks very similar to your ... although not much of a problem ;-)

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

I'd just like to introduce myself a bit:
32 years old
Working in Duesseldorf, living in Moenchengladbach (some 50 kilometers west of Duesseldorf)

I am a programmer/consultant working for a large consultancy company.

Bloodbowl is my favourite hobby since 1994, first playing a (quite successful) team of Undead ( The Underground VIPs ). After that I played a lot of teams, some of them more often (Chaos, Skaven, Chaos Dwarves), some of them only once ( Dwarves, High Elves ) some of them not at all ( Human, Orcs ). Currently I am playing a Lizardmen Team, the Teotihuacan Velociraptors, in our local league in Duesseldorf. ( see the OWL-Online homepage for more information ... sorry, it's in german )

Unfortunately we are not playing after LRB-Rules (although I am one of the "Headrefs") as many of the current players prefer to stick to the current rules, but I try to change the attitude towards it

@Relborn:
I'll take a look for a different picture as my avatar, thanks for the hint.

bye

Howdy

Post by Arkan »

As Tim introduced me, here's a hearty howdy from Arkan. Born and raised in Mannheim, I moved a little south a few years ago.

I'm german too!

I'm just new in BloodBowl and a couple of friend and I trying to start a league of our own.

Already found a nice Java-Tool (called LeagueManager) on the web to manage a league, unfortunately you have to input the teams all by hand so I'm looking for a tool to import HTML-Teamlists or convert those?

Welcome to TBB :D

I'm from Germany too. And I live in Bonn, not really far away from Duesseldorf, but not so close.

For some reason, I read the thread's author's name as "Nosepickin"

P.S. Belated welcome

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
