Who wants spp's for fouling???
Lets just get this out of the way and give it its own poll. I vote, that unless, fouling is signifigantly changed from what it is rite now to give spp's. I havent seen so many that i think it will be unbalancing.

As soon as it's worth SPP's, you'll see a lot more of it. Right now there's only a tactical advantage to fouling, but if you can get skill advancement from it, then coaches will foul with groups of assists. It will be the easiest way to get SPP's.
If you want to run some numbers, as the poll poster seems to suggest, then figure out the odds of getting SPP's from fouling, vs. completions or blocking. It's too easy.

I'm with neo on this - although I could be persuaded if someone shows me some numbers that can prove otherwise.
fouling is something that was included because of all the fluff surrounding it. It is a part of the game and should be included but there a quite a few ways to already gain the star player points that - IMO - are more reflective of what really goes into the development of stars

Numbers...
A definite "No" for me.
It's easy enough to injure someone on a foul if you really want to, no need to add SPPs and have a load of Dirty Players in every team.
Not that easy you would say? Consider that you really want to injure another player... You would:
1) Make sure that the armor roll goes through (foul at +5 on AR 7, +6 on AR 8 etc...).
2) Of course, keep the +2 Dirty Player for the injury roll.
Your chances to injure the opposing player are 42% (15 rolls out of 36)
Even if you have the eye on you the odds are worth it since the opponent may have lifetime effects (niggling, stat losses or death) while you're only thrown out of the game.
You don't need to add SPPs to this.

I have marked an Absolute Yes.
Thinking on a strength team, who can only score twice in a match, and is most likely to drop off from the game because beign overscored by the other more fast, dodgy teams, and not even beign allowed SPP from fouling ... well .. if you want that, why having such races as dwarves or chaos dwarves ... let's all play elves!
[they die 'cos they are low on armour, but my ugly hats CANT SCORE IN ONE TURN!][And they dodge away from my blocks, and the pass the ball all through the field, and they can also FOUL my players too!!!]
I think this has to be tested mora in depth .. I'm suggesting to keep SPP from fouling in my league ... only those in which no MightyBlow or RSC and the like are involved ...
regards

So we should not give spp's because a whole team can join up one turn and foul once, injure one person (42%) and get 2 spp's? After that they still only have 42% chance to get and injury (im quaking) with a 50% chance of loosing the guy who did it? This really seems like a good option to u guys? What the heck is your opponents team doing letting u get 5 assists when any tz guard or not cancels it out? Especially more than once? Have i mentioned that i dont agree with the 42% considering since the average av in most leagues i have ever seen is 8. How many of u have half skaven/woodelf/halfling/goblin teams in your league?

The problem lies when one side gets numerical superiority. I've played 2 very one sided pbem games lately, one in my favour and one not.
In either game, there was absolutely no point in surrounding one of the few remaining players and kicking the crap out of them. Think about awarding fouling spps in an 11 to 5 or 6 situation. Losing a player with control of both numbers and the clock is no problem, and well worth the 50/50 risk for the 2 spps.
With spps for fouling I'd have taken the cheap and cheesy way to rack up points though. Who wouldn't?
