That ogre looks great. I would love to contribute to a Legacy team, but I have 2 reservations. err 3 I mean.

1.) My painting skills are mediocre at best.

2.) From the sound of it the last Legacy winner didn't collect his team? Is that correct?

3.) If I did want to do a figure it would have to be an easy one. No converting or anything like that.

My brother always played Chaos and he painted his beastmen according to thier names.

Hulk was green skinned
Thing was orange
Smurfie was blue

He had a pink skinned one. He would be good inspiration for me. What do you guys think? A pink skinned beastman for the Slaanesh team?

The thing that is overpowered is the number of LRB lovers here at TBB. Winning has overpowered fun.

Answers:-

1) They can't be any worse than mine

2) There was a problem with Milo shipping them out - sort be sorted soon.

3) Convert if you want to, basic if you don't.

C'mon, join in, you never know, you might get a truly unique team out of it.

Okay, don't commit me yet. Let me get a miniature ready and see how the painting goes before I commit. But I'm definitely interested.

Well, I brought a blister of the new Daemonettes today, so I'll see what that looks like, though I'm still hoping a mate will come through with one of the original ones (not those huge clawed monstorities from the recent edition. :puke: ).

Progress report

Post by Mr-Klipp »

Well, I haven't yet started the daemonette for the team, but I did paint another one that came in the box for a store contest and won best fantasy mini. Since the one I do for the team will probably look rather similar to this one, I'll post a few pics.

That's one kick-ass paint job on a great miniature. The Daemonettes and even more so the Horrors got a marvelous facelift with their latest recast. BTW, is that Pallid Flesh?

I can't give you the actual colors as I have moved all my paints into dropper bottles, and don't recognize the name by the color. I can tell you that the skill is 3 tones of grey, then shaded with blue in some areas and highlighted with a bit of flesh tone in others.
