Great Team Names

Hi all,
inspired by the thread about funny names for players, I thought it would be interesting to hear some team names.
I'd like to hear the best names you've ever seen used (or just come up with).

Here's a list from my league. Some were actual teams, while others were just cool names invented by me and my pals:

Here are a couple of names I kinda like from an old league I've played in:

Goblin: Fungus Loonies
Skaven: Pitfiends V (That's V for five.. The dude had four previous skaven teams demolished before he joined our league)
Wood Elf: The Men in Tights
Wood Elf: Woodstockers
Norse: Beerdrinkers and Hellraisers

Oh.. And I can't take credit for any of these names.. Just though I'd pass them on..

Pun names are generally best.
My favourite would be my Estalian Undead team...the L.A. Reapers.
There's a high Elf team in my league called "Those Bastards".

The greatest team name ever though was a REAL one used by a now defunct British American Football team from Surrey. The Staines Removers.

Actually, I don't agree that pun names are the best names.
Sure, a good joke can work - but some team names are just too stupid for my liking.

Maybe I take BB too seriously, but such team names annoy me.
I wood elf team in my current league is called "Lardy Dardy Lumberjacks". That just doesn't work for me.

Well i come from a different world i guess i dont find the goblin teams name amusing at all.

My teams all have simplistic names

Cant remember my Chaos Dwarf's name
Lizardmen Lustrian Lizardkings
Lustrian Leapers
Dark Elves Zardokian Assasins
Cant remember my Undead Teams name

You should check out our team names, and our Player's names in the ABBL. Good stuff. Lots of Puns and twisting of words. =) Here is a list of the teams:

Lizards = Lustria Gators (twisted fromFlorida Gators)
Skaven = Skittsburgh Stealers (twisted from Pittsburgh Steelers)
Undead = Washington Deadskins (twisted from Washington Redskins)
Halfling = New Eggland Pastriots (twisted from New Eggland Patriots)

Those are our best team names.
I play the Lizardman team, here are a couple of my names that I am proud of:

Skinks = Wher Digo, Jinkn Jive, Nowusimi Nowudont.
Saurus = Imatellyu Somtin

Then our halfling Coach can't ever field this dude without some kind of laugh:

Halfling = Stiffy McBilbo (just say it outloud and try not to laugh)

how about an Amazon team I have planned called
"The 69ers" - they are currently called "the Brionne Bunnies" as the models are all bunny girls but they will be getting new sponsorship soon which will involve a name change.
Other names I have used down the years:
humans: Sherkargo Krushers
orcs: Da Impz (led by star player and coach Da Imp) / Severed Hedz (from 1st ed)
dark elves: Doonesbury Dodgers (no idea why!)
bretonnian: the Loencouer Lancers (duh)
chaos marauders: the Wasted (every player is named after a SA football player)
other names that have been in my league:
undead: Throwing Skulls (talk about cursing your team!)
wood elves: Wandering Leaves
orcs: Bogz Biggaz 'n Bettaz
skaven: Middenheim Warphunters

Halfling: The Braeburg Halfpints (all named after beers, Treeman named OakenBarrel.)
Orcs: Da Rite Nancy Boyz (Orcs pretending to be elves.)
Skaven: Dirty Rat Packers (Named after Rat Pack members)

I like fun names that somehow refer to real names of football teams. One of the best names I've come across was:

I just remembered...there used to be a Khemri team in our league called Double Skulls. REALLY asking for trouble.

If I remember right the TBBF has the PIttzburgh Squeakers...
my own skaven will be undergoing a name change when I finally get around to repainting them (have to get around to stripping them first for one thing.) I thought the Black Pass Bubonics sounded pretty good.

All my teams' names are just too damn sensible.
