That could be a bit harsh, but the deadlines do drift...
What I did on the NAF team was put a date about 2 weeks after the intitial deadline to know a definite status of your mini if I hadn't already received it. Those we had not heard from by then were excluded from the draw. I left it up to the participants to decide if the handful of people that were late but kept communication flowing should be excluded. They chose not to exclude them. We still have 4 mini's outstanding and our initial deadline was 11/30/2003 (but I'm expecting 2 of them any day in the mail). The good news is the guy who won is in my league and is being very patient.
Also, we are probably going to move the deadline for the NAF Legacy team closer to mid-year so that the TBB team and NAF team aren't due right on top of one another. This may help out a bit.

I am going to redouble my efforts, and work around my schedule, and get this mini finished before the 31st! I'm too proud of the way my first attempt at greenstuff worked out to not show it off.

Ok, lets see, what i can do with this old Chaos Warrior, which i found in my drawers. He, thats a real old one made of heavy metal. I will try to paint this mini quite fast...
i´m quite busy right now.
At last the mini is " cutted" and primed... tomorrow i will start to paint.

BTW... the mini is posing in front of one piece of the Streetbowl pitch.

You've hit the nail right on the head. The team is open to all TBB members, but the deadline is coming up fast. Needs to be rec'd by McDeth by January 31st.ORTHODUB wrote:Just noticed this thread whats it all about![]()
it seems to be paint and convert a slanesh bb figure then go into a draw to win the team ? or have i got it wrong.
Anyway lots of cool mini's going on here. Nice

so who decides who wins the team and how do they judge it. Is it a random draw or is it based on how different/ unique the model is.Also is it too late to join in this cool idea.
I have a bitching idea for an orge/big guy conversion, might just be able to get it in before the end of the month as well...
...if i know by tuesday at the latest.
