looking very nice Woody... obviously not quite the same very high standard as the Zons, but a beautiful job nonetheless... and I agree, the models look even better painted.... sadly my Valks are still covered in bits of glue, tissue paper and blood...
at least now I know why the Wodell site has not been updated with my Dutch Open success....

Actually paint wise I'm happier with them than the zons, pics don't really do them justice. Obviously there's none of the conversion work that went into the zons, but paint wise I think they compare pretty favourably. And these are just plain better figs IMO.
(Yeah, must get around to updating Wodell, needed these for this weekend though!)

heh heh...might have started a trend with the numbers!
hg: Yep: 4RR 5FF and apoth. Pretty standard fare for 1.1 roster for me, ran it at the Dutch Open, and at Spiky with an extra linechick instead of the apoth as they weren't allowed. The actual team sheet I'm gonna hand in is my DO one with the extra skills scribbled out!

Hmm...cant say I've ever been drinking while painting...to get my gems to turn out like that, maybe I should. I know gem painting is discused in great detail all the time...but the small green orbs on the helms look really nice...did you do anything out of the ordinary? They look nice all around.

Just the standard method really, three colour green, darker crescent on the top, lighter on the opposite bottom, small dot of white. I went over them with some gloss (GW 'ard coat) after the matt varnish of the figs to finish.
