When did these new minis actually come out? I only discovered them a few days ago on the UK GW online shop.

31mm!? Apparently "28mm Heroic" is down the toilet...

Nice scale-creep...from 25mm (the standard), up to GW's "28mm Heroic"...then suddenly up to 31mm.

Pretty soon we'll all be playing BB with Inquisitor figures on a three-foot pitch.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

inquisitor range of minis are cool

though a team would work out expensive at £12 a player

The creep had already taken place, so they just adjusted things and stopped additional creep. I haven't measured a 3e human, but I'd bet they are 31mm

Unfortunately the new elves and vamps looks much smaller scale than the 3ed minis (same with Rotters from what I hear), so the scales will look like they're all over the place if the newer teams are all going to be 31mm.

If that is true then the Ogres are still Giant sized. I have the biggest problem with the ogres I guess because I consider myself an ogre coach first and foremost and I love the poses but they are just way to big.

Jake and Andy said something about standardizing (eventually) all races in bb. So that sculpters will have a standard for making new minis for that race.

They seriously need to. I might just spend £6 on Varag if he looks as good in reality, but it sticks in my gullet that they can rip us off so much!

These are available US Online now.
I think I will wait till they start showing up on ebay. $10 a pop is a bit steep for what I consider unnecessary.(The old griff and varag were just fine IMO)

You can order archive WH CD blunderbuss figs from GWMO. I converted mine by cutting a 2ed plastic football in half and gluing on the end of the barrell, but that could be easily greenstuffed (or no conversion at all if you want).
