new Griff and Varag at my site...

Post by traveller »

... just got both minis today, cleaned and primed them and here they are at my archive. OK, unpainted !

Well, quite a nice mini, this Varag. Maybe not the best mini for a game because of the size and the balance, but a nice mini to paint. BTW... my Varag mini is a bad cast. In the middle of the body the mini ruptured... after priming ok, but still a bad cast.

Griff, hm, not as bad as i thought, seeing the picts before.

Do these minis actually come with alternative heads? Or was that just a rumour?

If it's a rumor then Andy Hall and Jake Thornton have been fooled by it. :D

They confirmed it at the TKC in Florida when someone inquired.

Well are there any pictures on the internet? Can anyone who actually has them post a description? I don't recall seeing so much as a mention of them in WD or BBMag when they were released, and they're not on GW's online store.

He doesn't have the extra heads though, which is what I was referring to.

I see though that the US webstore has them, so I now believe that they exist.

nice pics trav !

it's cool they made 2 heads, and I like multipart figures, becuase you can always put it together as you like it the most, it makes the figure a bit more "of you" then. almost like converting..
