Throw Action (Replacing Pass)

Post by Toby »

Throw (Passing Skill)
A player with the Throw Skill is allowed to re-roll the die if he fails a Throw Action.

Accurate Pass (Passing Skill)
A player with the Accurate Pass Skill gets a +1 modifier when he is throwing the football.

Throwing Teammates

Big Guys with the Racial Caracteristic Throw Teammate can throw Little Ones with the Racial Caracteristic Right Stuff. The Big Guy must take a Throw Action. He may only move before he throws, after the throw his Player Turn ends. To be picked up the Little One must be standing next to the Big Guy. The Big Guy can attempt a Quick Throw, Short Throw, or Long Throw. The Little One must be thrown to a empty square.

The Little One must try Landing in the target square. Add + 1 to the Landing Modifier if it was a accurate throw. Add -1 To the landing modifier for every enemy Tackle Zone on the square the player is thrown to. If the player lands on his feet he can take an Action now or later in the Team Turn. If it was a missed throw, scatter to see where the Little One ends up. Make a roll to see if he manages to land on his feet as long as he ends up in an empty square. If the player is thrown out of bounds he is beaten up by the crowd. If he lands on top of another player both are knocked down, and the Little One is bouncing until he ends up prone in an empty square. A fumbled throw does not result in a turnover unless the player was holding the ball. The Little One falls over in his starting square.

A safe landing counts as a complete throw and the Thrower collects 1 Star Player Point. A failed Landing does not result in a turnover unless the player was holding the ball.

Throwing the Football

A Player who is holding the ball may take a Throw Action.

Normally i ignore your threads but this time i just couldnt.

Why the heck do you want to make a new skill called Throw that is IDENTICAL to the pass skill???

and as usual you post in the wrong forum. This belongs in the Houserules!

Pass or Throw its the same thing - semantics.
Yes I agree at times the terminology gets a little muddled but you will hit upon the same thing with using the word Throw.
