Scoring in your opponents turn

Post by Thadrin »

Obviously this is possible. I'm pretty sure it even happened to me once.
Question is: who's turn is it afterwards?

Is it a turnover for your opponent to score in your turn? if not, is it still your turn after the kick off and do all your players who've already been that turn still get to move after the kick off?
Or is it your opponents turn? hang on, but he's kicking! that can't be right.
Or does he skip a turn (ie it is a turnover, and he automatically scores, thus causes his turn to end as soon as it starts?)

Is anyone else's brain melting?

We had this situation once and ruled it as skipping one turn. So you score, set up, move your turnmarker and kick.

ok, this is my favourite question.
I ask it to players to see if they know enough about the rules to be ref in my league.

So, you score during opposing team:
So loose your turn cos it is said in the rulebook that your team is enjoying the fact of scoring.
As this, you can set up normally with no difference of turn.

I am pround of trambi :)
