just coming back from the GD...
This better bring home a slayer sword or something...........And some BLOOD BOWL props in WD!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry, Gken, nothing...

... I didnt get anything.
I put my entry into the category "Inquisitor /large miniatures." Seems, that was a mistake. My BB orc was the only one " not inquisitorstyle mini". There were great conversions of inquisitor minis, realy good stuff... and i think, my " mini" ( about 5-6-cm larger than each of the inquisitor minis) just didnt fit into this category to get a voting at all. Maybe the "Open Category" had be the better one choice... partial my mistake , as i didnt realize this before, maybe partial GW staff mistake, which didnt change my entry into the better category ? Well, next year i will try again.
At last i got the second large BB mini after Gary Morley´s selfsculpting at the cover of the BB compendium
Michael Schmitz, coach of the " Dying Ronin" team, (some people will remember his great converted orcteam, which won the best painted price at the Dungeonbowl ?) got the bronze Demon at the category "BloodBowl". His great converted pitch with Dugouts and fans didnt make a demon as diorama category, but i´m quite sure he is a very happy person tonight !

He was standing right next to me, when he got the demon
The Silver demon went to a great converted and very well painted Halfingteam, which i saw also at the Dungeon Bowl.
The Gold demon went for a converted Norse team with a small stand as base. I just checked my picts for this team to remember...but, IMO, there were better teams than this one. Just my personal taste.
IMO it was a quite disappointing fact, that at last 8-10 demons went to different french painters, coming from the last french GD, wearing all the same french GD04 tshirts. Dont misunderstand me.... quite disappointing in the way, that their entries had a much higher level than the most german entries ! Realy good stuff.

Maybe some will remember my post about French GDpicts ? Everybody can have a different opinion of people travelling from GD to GD to get a demon somewhere at the end, but the painting and conversion level of their entries were worth the demons. And even harder the fact, that the " German " slayersword went to a french painter, too !
Franz Sander and Werner Klocke ( these are famous german sculptors (Reaper minis) and painters ) got demons , too. As usual !
I think, next year i will try another BB Team.. and maybe some not BB related stuff !
I had a little talk with Jake about new minis. I bought the new Jordell mini. And i saw the new Deathroller.

Here a pict of this machine:

BTW... I will post some more GDpicts of the BB teams later this week.
