why a theme, let's just say we paint a Phig, or a more specific phig (for instance "a new human" and let everybody's creativity run wild; I've seen the linemen from FBB live, and they rock! Especially since they are all so unique but still the same mini!

Well lets go with phigs. I would prefer it be left open as any phig rather then one specific one. Need to get these widows painted afterall and these chaos halflings and the rest of my gnols oh and that pile of imps.

Doesn't really matter what category, but I will vote for Phigs this first round. Hopefully I can get some better pictures than the ones I gave Phil for his Gallery.

I got some ideas again..
I think it would be nice to keep a list of end resulds somewhere.
and maybe you should do something like: you can't winn it twice in a row ..
so you won't have one person winning it all the time.. ( 2 persons...

)

Let me evtend my previous opinion to start with ANY Phig, converted or not. We can always do a fig specific category later on. Make it as easy as possible to participate this First round while still helping Phil out.

ok well for the inaugral painting contest here are the stipulations:

1 phigs model (any type from the current range or forthcoming figure)
Can be converted or left original
Must have some paint on (3 colours as a minimum shall we go for?) and be based
No figures need to be sent. Just a picture of your finished work (front and back) sent to my email address (weblwarrior@hotmail.com)

can't think of anything else. if you think of anything though feel free to pop it down here.

I would like to point out that I will be placing a Phil's order soon (end of this week) to cater for people who need miniatures in Holland/Europe.

I accept paypal, cash or possibly a trade for what you need. But I think that with Phils discount this service might not be necessary.

Furthermore it might be better to wait for the humies to be done before I order

What is the Deadline for the contest?

... and those witches look nice, too.

Ah, btw... the sprues are not ready yet for shipping, right ?

right i'll update the first post right away (well in a few minutes anyway).

i would say that competition starts anytime from now and closes on 26 november 2004. this will give us all just over 2 months. is that enough time for everyone or should i make it december.
