Mummy skilling up help!

Post by BullBear »

First skill roll, and I roll double 3's (worthless)!!

Smart money says Block (but doubles!), what about Piling on, or more importantly STAND FIRM??

Any suggestions?

For first skill stick with block or its gonna be a while before you get to 16SPP's and at least it'll save on re-rolls.

You've already got MB so you should be getting a fair few cas so 10 pts isn't too much to hang on for.

You crazy foo's! The smart money's on Stand Firm, followed by Jump Up. That way, he's always going to be able to block; regardless of the Block dice roll. Stand firm also lets him dodge in complete safety - a handy secondary effect of the skill.

On a double, Side Step in preference to Stand Firm can be VERY annoying for your opponent, since you can just slide to the side ready to block the blocker's guards.

Problem is, he can't get jump up, even on a double. Read your rules again.
