No jump up?
Zombie, why can't he get jump up on a double?
I assume the LRB states that skill is now a trait? If this is the case, then I apologise. For some reason, I can't get to the LRB at all.
Still, it's a shame - Ol' Cheoper the Jump up, ST6, Multiple Block Mummy was a favourite of mine!
Seems he'll be going into permanent retirement then.

While Stand Firm is fine, it's not exactly netting points early for him just standing there, unless that's the master plan. Later sure.
Here's my reasoning behind Piling On for the Mummy.
He's strength 5, so if he nails the guy it's +5
to break the armour, with your Mighty Blow now coming into effect for the Injury instead of being used to crack the armour. These means even Dwarves have to fear this guy, let along the BigGuys. Now figuring averages, you have a
greater chance of removing, even injuring the player attacked, which in
the longrun inproves your chances of the rest of the team performing well. (Seeing as you are removing the opposition from the field, and maybe the game.) The bonus is all those lovely SPP's quickly.
Stand Firm is great, but just stopping the oppostion is one thing, REMOVING him is quite another.

Good point scum, but I have to point out that I had a coach spend an entire game with 2 black orcs and an orc blitzer solely concentrating on my Stand Firm Mummy. This allowed me to concentrate my attack away from that player. Needless to say I won 4-0. And that Mummy got the MVP(we allow the opposing coach to pick the MVP...the player which they felf was the actual most valuble play for a team...that randomly deciding on the MVP is just stupid).

Too bad diving tackle sucks now...that'd be the easy answer back in the day.
I used to have 2 DT mummies. Made our defense REALLY tough...you put mummies on the wings and force the offense to play up the middle...which is fine by us because it meant all our slow players to get to the ball that much faster!
