High Elves are pansies. Dark Elves are much cooler. Plus which, I have noticed that High Elf teams roll a one and then one again a lot more frequently than Dark Elves.Zombie wrote:High elf line-eves aren't nearly as good? That was probably a joke, but i can't see why it's supposed to be funny. I do hope that you weren't serious.

Woodelves are even worse than HighElves at rolling dbl 1's for ball related antics. Tho they always succeed there 1 dice blocks :/
I've reached the point where the Wood Elf Thrower needs Sure Hands over Accurate for the first skill after failing 3 turns in a row to pick up the ball multiple times.

Absolutely that's a given. A reroll is always better than a +1...especially given how often the thrower has to pickup the ball.Korhil wrote:Woodelves are even worse than HighElves at rolling dbl 1's for ball related antics. Tho they always succeed there 1 dice blocks :/

As for the double 1's thing, my experience is that it happens to all elves equally, tho I've never played high elves so they may be more or less.

My dark elf WH army would never forgive me if I played high elves in anything.

You seam to be missing the subtle point...
You never pick up the ball with the thrower anyway with Elves, a Line Elf always does and throws a Quick Pass for the SPP (3 2+ rolls).
Hence why Accurate is the first skill you get so you can move the ball more effectively and then depending you may get surehands for the Thrower 2nd so that you have someone to rely on to pick it up when situation requires it.

Well we play differently...I actually DO pick up the ball with the thrower, when I have a thrower. I don't have one for several games, before that I do throw with line elves.Korhil wrote:You seam to be missing the subtle point...
