Got a great idea and/or proposal for BloodBowl?

They have only six position players and are a bashing team, so it'd seem proper that they have a big guy too.
And I think Ogres would like to play in a dwarf team:
Instead of the constant running and fast moving human teams, they get to be in a team that's guaranteed not to outrun him.

hear hear, although I doubt I would ever take one for my Dwarves as they are quite an efficient crew without a tall balding shadow causing eyesore.

even though its got a penalty roill then the Deathroller has got to be the Big Guy. All Big Guys have some sort of negative so the penalty roll will be that one.

But the Deathroller is comic relief and nothing more, a good opponent can take it out in the first turn.

most big guys are good for a half at least.

I agree Stand Firm.
I agree the ogre is stupid. Dwarfs would not play with ogres.
The Iron Golem is just a sub for the Death Roller since most people want it as a secret weapon.

I think instead of Bonehead just give it a trait called "Secret Weapon". Then you just roll for it like you normally would.

What big guy isn't easy to corral?

Without ST of at least 7, it's not a Death Roller. More like a Dead Roller

Death roller, along with other SW, are still not part of the "official" game (yet). Remember, DR is a SW not a BG and it's kind of lame (too easy to knock out of the game besides having a penalty roll).

Hey Pariah,

I do think they are all easy, just the DR is more so than most.

never used one, never will, give me a trollslayer with MultiBlock and Dauntless every time.

I do agree with you there. My league didn't take long to become unafraid of it and start throwing lineslobs at it. lol
The one thing they ALWAYS forgot was the penalty roll for it before the kick offs. lol The rule in our league was extrapolated to mean that once the DR is set up on the pitch it couldn't be kicked out until a new kick off was made. Most of the time I waited until the 2nd half to put it in anyway, so on the rare occaisions that I used it in the first half they would always forget. I loved it. lol.
