What are you suggesting? I'd had a long day fare dodging and was feeling a little tired!

Admittedly I'm much more accustomed to beer throwing than beer drinking.

perhaps i can give a good tip for an nice hotel ....

www.bookings.nl

search for the "Van der Valk" hotel near schiphol airport - 4 star hotel , with 2 - 4 person rooms , if you book via bookings.nl you get some discount.

i stayed in there from march to oktober once a month.
you can easiely stay with 6 persons in a 4 persons room even if its not allowed ;) , just pack in an camp bed or someting similar.

if i remember correctly it's about 115 € for 4 person room and 90 € for a 2 person room. it's definitily nice for groups, and you have all the benefits of an upper class hotel.

regards

The problem with this hotel is the location: It will take you a long time to get to the venue. You will have to take a (free) Shuttlebus everyday to Schiphol and go to Amsterdam from there. It's going to be a hassle with the public transport: one train, two trams: 75 minutes

oh sorry didn't know that.

i always had access to a car so i could reach everything fairly easy in Amsterdam. Just wanted to help with a good and payable hotel ;) , if it's out of reach .. it's not interessting for sure.

I'm impressed! In competition conditions I suppose it depends how far the opposition pushes you

46? Now that is hardcore!

On a side note, I believe that TR105 is the most balanced tourney rating. Teams best at TR100 don't lose their edge and Teams who really get good at TR110 have to sacrifice a bit. Orcs and Norse seem overpowered at TR110 as they don't know what to spend their money on.

I agree with you!
In Italy, we try the TR 105 in a lot of tournaments and it seams the most balanced TR. A lot of different coaches won different tournaments with different races. With 110 the winners are always the same two coaches, with TR 100 the same 2-3 races...

Bugger... Having played with dwarfs for quite a long time, it really scares me too see so much of them this time! Though, still love to go from 'tough as nails' to 'quick as the devil'.

So who wants to play some practice PbeM 110 matches then? I have 3 teams I 'may' take, I would like to get a load of games in to see which one I'm any good at...?

Drop me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you the game with my team already loaded 8) .
