Death to all Elves!!
OK, so I'm a little bored. Just for contraversy sake, I say let's bring back the +1 damage mod from 2ed for all faggotty elves. With practically all skills dependant on AG, elves are too good. I know, people are going to say elves may be able to score lots of TDs but take lots of cas. Well, I say, NOT ENOUGH! I want to see more elf carnage. Death to all those pointy eared puffs! HA! HA! HA!

Never had that much problem crunching elves. Use dwarfs or Chaos and beat them for a half and then score in the second.
If I had to pick a way to knock them down a peg I would say that High Elves and Dark Elves should be AV 7 like the woodies.
I'd rather see them at AV 7 than deal with +1 injury mods.

In 2ed elves were portrayed as a bit femmy, something that was dropped with 3ed (some elf lovers must have gotten hold of JJ and brainwahed him). Anyway, I was a bit off on the injury part, no +1 but they took longer to recover from KO and stun (sort of opposite of Thick Skull). Quote from 2ed book, "Star Players";
Most elf players are not really cut out for the battering of a solid block or hard tackle - it messes up their hair, gets their outfits all dirty, and, oh, those unsightly bruises! The Elves distaste for direct physical contact is partially reflected in their low AV. In addition, Elf players take longer to recover from Stunned and KO'd results than players belonging to other races.
So maybe as Pariah has suggested, all wimpy elves should have AV7. As well they should only recover from KO on a 6 and have to roll 4-6 in order to turn over from stum. This would put them more in line with how elves historically were in BB.

Do people honestly think that elves are overpowered compared to other teams? What about Dwarves? Or Orcs? IMO both these teams are overpowered, so if elves were given a lower armour value, perhaps dwarves should lose Tackle on all their players, and remove Throwers from the Orc team list. This is just my opinion by the way, feel free to disagree with me
And BTW, I'm not an elf player, I use Chaos.

AG4 is a huge deal, no doubt about that.
Elves were good in almost vanilla 3rd ed (fouling limited by IGMEOY) already - winning tournaments in settings where there were +1/+1 MB etc.
Now that Strength teams have been limited further, wouldn't harm to have them elves cut back too.
Reducing AV or +1 injury mods are not the way to go, however, but
5+ to recover from KO and 2+ to turn around from stun would help a lot.

The idea sounds good to me. A roll to recover from Stun and a worse chance to recover from K.o. seems very 2nd-Edition-ish to me (I like that).
I also believe that High Elves and Dark Elves should have lower AVs (7 beside the Blitzers from both teams).
In second edition Dark Elves get penalties for passing under sunlight - what's with this ? Fits better than the recovery version for Dark Elves.

I reckon HE & DE aren't over powerful. They are good, no doubt about it, but unbalanced - no.
No strength, no Big Guys or no strength skills is a big pain. Especially when you end up facing Orc or Chaos teams with lots of Strength, mighty blow etc.
70k as your cheapest player is a major headache too. Elves may be individually good, but you pay for it. One or two unlucky casualties can be a real nightmare to recover from.

T5 tournament:
1st place: Undead
2nd place: Dwarves
3rd place: Undead
Spiky tournament:
1st place: Lizardmen
2nd place: Skaven
3rd place: Humans
Resurrection tournament:
1st place: Lizardmen
2nd place: Dwarves
3rd place: Skaven
I'm not seeing a whole lot of call for weakening elves.
