Pushing players in to the crowd

Post by Asmodan »

I have a situation where I am not quite sure what is right.
The situation is like this:

x
op
---------

Where x is my player, o is the player I am pushing and p is a prone player.----- marks the sideline.

Can I push him in to the crowd or do I have to push him to the square where the prone player is?

I need the answer fast so could someone please help me.

Hmmmm I can´t seem to make it right so I will try to explain instead.

My player blocks opponent player diagonally.
This means I can push him either in to the crowd or to the square where the prone player is.
Must I choose the square where his player is, or can I push him into the crowd?

If the square is occupied he goes into the crowd.

This is a tactic combined with frenzy!
get one player to stand in the square where the player could be pushed into so it's an occupied square and frenzy a player off the pitch.

This will make your opponent make a gap in the sideline because he's afraid of getting pushed off the field.

As your frenzied player has to follow up you end up next to the sidelines, ready to get pushed out. If I've got cheap expendible players (e.g. zombies, hobgobs) I'd try to persuade you into doing this...

Ian:
You blitz the player so you just move away afterwards. The player who's helping just has to be a poor lineman, who can get pushed off the field.

It's not like "the plan", just a funny little play when you got frenzy. :D
