This has been posted to the Mailing List and BBC board also.
I came across the Cursed Company on the Dogs of War section of GW.
Any ideas on coming up with a roster for skeletons of different races.
Here's what I've got so far:
DWARF SKELETON (Chaos and Normal): 4 3 1 8 Reg, Thick Skull (30k)
ELF SKELETON (High, Dark or Wood): 5 3 3 7 Reg. (40k)
ORC SKELETON: 5 3 2 8 Reg. (40k)
GOBLIN SKELETON: 6 2 2 7 Reg, Stunty (40k)
SKAVEN SKELETON: 6 3 3 7 Reg. (50k)
LIZARDMEN SKELETON (SAURUS): 5 3 1 8 Reg. (30k)
BEASTMEN SKELETON: 5 3 2 7 Reg, Horns (40k)
HALFLING SKELETON: 4 2 2 6 Reg, Stunty(30k)
Now before I get the "JUST USE THE FIGURES WITH THE NORMAL SKELETON
STATS" response- I'm not asking them to be official. I just want to
see what creative stuff the board could come up with for this idea.
Peace, JT

Well...
at least if my necromancer successfully Raises the Dead, there will be a selection of appropriate models to choose from...

Another funny idea is to begin a single undead race team (ie orc undead team) then with the kill of other teams add different players.
So first you play an orc undead team, then after your first match (against gobbo for example), you integrate the dead (gobbo) of your opponent.
What do you think of that ?

Memory!
I loosely remember seeing rules for different types of skellys, these are way better though.GalakStarscraper wrote:Cursed Company team:

Did something similar a while ago which had no restriction on who to pick.
Basically 0-2 Throwers
0-2 Catchers
0-2 Blitzers
0-2 Blockers
0-16 Linemen.
Whereas for each player who fell into the category would suffer a -1 to AG and -2 to movement. Same as The MBBL ruels for raising the dead etc

What comes to Galaks suggestion, I personally prefer the undead losing all skills. Although I'm aware that dwarf skeletons would be utterly useless without Block&Tackle, I feel that it's better that way.

In my league I'll allow an all-skeleton team if someone wants to field one, but they have to start with human skeletons and try to acquire the others. Well... if someone would want to start a halfling skeleton team, he could do that also.
