I'm still toying with going to see Madness next year, trouble is Wembley Arena's a bit of a 'souless' venue..I'd have prefered open air at Finsbury Park or even Brixton Academy or somewhere..

What about specific songs ?

2 Steps Behind
&
Piece of the Action
by Def Leppard are appropriate.

But Def Leppard started to SUCK after Hysteria and they went all soft rock.
2 steps behind is about the least appropriate song for BB I can think of! You'll be trying Bryan Adams on us in a moment.

(Slough? you poor boy...
Slough, by John Betjeman

Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Slough
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow
Swarm over, Death!
Come, bombs, and blow to smithereens
Those air-conditioned, bright canteens,
Tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned milk, tinned beans
Tinned minds, tinned breath.
Mess up the mess they call a town--
A house for ninety-seven down
And once a week a half-a crown
For twenty years,
And get that man with double chin
Who' ll always cheat and always win,
Who washes his repulsive skin
In women' s tears,
And smash his desk of polished oak
And smash his hands so used to stroke
And stop his boring dirty joke
And make him yell.
But spare the bald young clerks who add
The profits of the stinking cad;
It's not their fault that they are mad,
They've tasted Hell.
It's not their fault they do not know
The birdsong from the radio,
It's not their fault they often go
To Maidenhead
And talk of sports and makes of cars
In various bogus Tudor bars
And daren't look up and see the stars
But belch instead.
In labour-saving homes, with care
Their wives frizz out peroxide hair
And dry it in synthetic air
And paint their nails.
Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Slough
To get it ready for the plough.
The cabbages are coming now;
The earth exhales.)

Anyway..."one step Beyond" would be good for Gobboes.
Personal favourite is probably "Night Boat to Cairo". Khemri?

Just thought: "The ecstasy of Gold". Perfect for my Dwarfs. (The music that Metallica used to use as their intro music. Check S&M, its the opening track.) NO MENTIONING CHRISTMAS CAROLS.

I thought it was a repeated chant of "who's that tw** with the budgie on his hat?"

For Khemri:

Enter Sandman - Metallica

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Chaos - "Chaos A.D." by Sepultura
"My Demons Be Driven" by Pantera
"Raining Blood" by Slayer
"More Human than Human" by White Zombie
"Superbeast" by Rob Zombie
Most Rammstein

Undead - "After the Flesh" by My Life With the Thrill Kill Cult
"Living Dead Girl", and "Dragula" by Rob Zombie
"Night of the Living Dead", "Dig Up Her Bones", "Hate the Living,
Love the Dead", "Horror Business", and "Helena" by the Misfits

Halflings - "Eat It!", and "I Love Rocky-Road" by Wierd Al Yankovich

Orcs - "F***ing Hostile", "Walk", and "Don't F*** with This" by Pantera
"Umberumba-Bumba", and "Eye For An Eye" by Soulfly
"Rattamahatta", and "War for Territory" by Sepultura

Amazons - Anything by Kitty, or L7

Elves - "It's Raining Men" by the Village People J/K :D

Norse - "Viking Heads" from the Thirteenth Warrior Soundtrack
Come to think of it... ANYTHING from the Thirteenth Warrior
soundtrack
any Black Metal (Eastern European type stuff)

Lizardmen - That song from the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack (I think
someone mentioned it earlier)
any Taiko, or brazilian style drums

Goblins - "Sugar" by System of a Down
"Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)" by AC/DC
any really bad speed metal, involving really high pitched singers.
anything by Alvin, and the Chipmunks

Dark Elves - most anything by Bauhaus, KMFDM, Fear Factory, or LUXT

Humans - "TNT", and "For Those About to Rock" by AC/DC

Dwarves - The Braveheart soundtrack

Those are some ideas for songs, and bands for different teams, just off the top of my head.

Bit of a one track mind our Pariah has....
Still like "Maggots" myself....maybe for an undead team?

For dwarfs? "Rock, Rock til you drop" or "Rock of ages" (Def Leppard, the not-a-bunch-of-washed-up-hacks-before-the-hard-drinking-guitarists-liver-gave-up years.)
Anything by Soil, Hammerfall or Stonesour....

Chaos Dwarfs - "Slave new world" Sepultura
Wood Elves with a Treeman - "Roots, Bloody Take Root" Sepultura again.

Think I'll stick to my own fire up anthem of the moment - "Bodies" by Drowning Pool. Shame their singer died.

What?! I mentioned Odin. lol'

Oh wait! I meant Thor, not Odin! Odin was a totally crappy band that was in Decline of Western Civ. part II. Thor was a cool band with crushing riffs that all sounded the same but were cool anyway!

There's a lot of rock and metal here :o

I can see Gobbo's as Gangsta Rap bad boyz, might have to model some figs with beanie hats for that one.

Thought the Lizardmen might like a bit of D&B.
