As most know by now, I've been fiddling with GW textured trays as bases for BB vignettes of coaches/dugouts and what-not.... Well, I got my hands on the GW "modular" movement trays... hmmmmmmm....
One side is 25mm squares and the other side is 20mm.... A possible sectional board could be made out of 2 sets ($20 USD) if using the 20mm side (it would take 3 sets for the 25mm side).... A tiny bit tight, but would save on space a little and could be taken down and stacked quickly into a backpack/courier bag... light and portable!
Just a thought... and, admittedly, for a buck or two more (+postage) you can get a full-sized, felt field from Impact....
Maybe the 25mm side would be good for DungeonBowl...?
