Comfy Chair Games Chainsaw-wielding Human Psycho

Post by Brage97 »

Hi!

I just found this nice looking fella over at Comfy Chair Games

Image

There are some painted pictures of him here:
http://www.comfychairgames.com/forums/v ... f=11&t=216

The miniatures looks a bit crude sculpting-wise (from the painted pictures) and it seems the legs are not in proportion with the upper body. I guess the legs needs to be fleshed out with some green stuff.

But: There are still so many things I like about him and I really want him to be as good as I hope he is. When my son grows up; I want him to be just like this guy :D

He could well become a ref (Max Mittelmann on steroids) or just a crazed, human, steroid freak player.

Does anyone have him (yet) and can provide more info ?

Do you know what is the scale of their miniatures ?

This guy could be used as chainsaw starplayer and the pig could be a chaotic apothecary, but it seems to me they are a bit big compared to bloodbowl minis, aren't they ?

They're roughly 32mm scale, so a bit bigger than average Blood Bowl minis, but not so huge that they would look totally out of place.

I found pictures of the greens at Cool Mini Or Not

Does anyone have this mini and could show them next to the other guys?

Ah; heck; I'll just order one. After all it's only money.

judging from the base, the scale is fine for most races.. while I like the "Jason" mask, it makes him less BB than I would personally like.. plus if he is ever knocked over good luck taking up less than 3 squares....

I wonder if a head swap for an Orc might be about right though.. :-?

nice sculpt, though I prefer the naked clown with bottle of whisky myself..

Hmm. Swap his head for an Orc?

Good idea, why didn't I think of that!! I think the arms are separate too, so it should be an easy job. :P

I've seen this fig up close as this game has gotten a small but devoted following at my gaming store, although I personally haven't tried it. He's pretty big for STR 3 but plan on using him for Hack n Slash and Max Spleenripper. Might be neccesary for a Big guy base . I'll use impact markers for when he's down. Not that big a deal for me as Star players take the field so infrequently. I like the Friday the 13th theme in that I see the Necro stars as being Horror archtypes, so he's perfect for the 80's horror icon.

I bought the 'Jason' figure and the naked clown, the 'Jason' is just awesome, only a bit big. And for the naked clown, I'm using him as a coach for my evil clown team (ogres), will post pictures of them when fully painted.
