Has anyone got this Werewolf?

Post by Syphwyn »

I spotted this guy on Impact minatures website. It says he is 35mm to the eyes.

Has anyone got one of these, do they look to big for an Ulfwerner in a Norse team or about right?

I dont have it, but have seen it, and as far I remember that mini is huge.
Perhaps a little too big for an Ulf.

Ah really, damn it :(

I was thinking of doing a Norse team using this and the Heresy werewolf as the Ulfs and this as the snow troll:

The Impact mini is 35mm to it eyes. So it is probably close to 45mm to its shoulders.

I prefer the man-wolf as an Ulf.. I have never seen the Ulf as a werewolf.. more like Marvel's Sabretooth or the Space Wolves "lost" legion..

werewolves should be kept for Necromantic teams IMHO...

I personally use two of these for Ulfs, just snip off the axe and there you go. They are from Angelfire D&D line, the werebear.

They are bigger than the impact snowtroll but its cool to intimidate your opponent with them. Plus they are usually dirt cheap on ebay. Picked up two of them for $3.78 and that included shipping.

It's crap. (Sorry Tom) The head is too thin - looks like it has been run over by a truck.

I got one free in a trade. Took one look and gave it free to someone else in another trade.

Go with the wolfman from impact.

I have two of the arms outstretched ones.

They're large but I like to think of Ulfs as huge but extremely unskilled.
Lumbering bar brawlers if you will.

Wish mine were painted like that though...
