Dice that stay on the field....
I've literally chased falling dice for years and even dice cups haven't worked... well, tonight I used Crystal Dice and they never once left the field of play for either myself or my opponent....
Highly recommended imho....
This is just an example for example's sake... I bought mine local (store outta biz now), separately....

They random fine for me... more so than a standard six-sider that, tbh, I've watched other coaches palm quite successfully....thechosengobbo wrote:The shape. I guess it means that bouncing is less random...

<The following is speculation on my part>
They seem to fall with their ends down, which imparts spin to the die... then the flats seem to catch surface and stop them.... More like spinning a top as opposed to rolling a circle (which the cube roughly approximates)....

I think he meant the bouncing across the table was less random, not it's rolling of numbers.Digger Goreman wrote:They random fine for me... more so than a standard six-sider that, tbh, thechosengobbo wrote:The shape. I guess it means that bouncing is less random...

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

A few reasons:Takoda wrote:Why not just use a dicecup? Pretty controlled and no knocking over the miniatures
Some coaches get upset that you'd request their use (usually the "palmers")....
It's another "something" to keep up with....
Sometimes they still go off the table for me (catch the lip of the cup)....
Otherwise, yea, sure, dice cups are another way....
