go to "figures", then to "fantasy", then to "chaos". It has a nice werewolf in it, perfect sized.

Just for a heads up...

I'm just totally bowled over and gleefully slapping the Digger Goreman Perfect Seal of Approval on the A,B,E,F models of the Wargods Ghouls!!!! (got the E&F models today)

I'm gonna be forced to play more Undead games (as opposed to Necros) as I just can't stand to sit two of them back into the case!

WowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWowWow!!!!

Man, the photos just don't do the E&F models justice as, even unpainted, they look like they want to shred your entrails and slather your bones in your own blood....

Oh... WOW....

Golems for the Egyptian style team: I'm actually going with the under-sized (for mummies) khemri mummy figs... also makes good for straight undead....

So, let's see the GW fig count:

Necromancer:
GW: Wights, Golems, 4 out of 6 zombies = 8
Other: Ghouls, Werewolves, 2 zombies = 6

Undead:
GW: Wights, Mummies, 4 out of 6 zombies = 8
Other: Ghouls and 2 out of 6 zombies = 6

So, hopefully, I could even show my animated, dead pelt in a GW store!

The "Sorrows" are o.k.,... just not my cup o' tea.... The mole men would be interesting if a theme team could be put together... coming up out of the ground is cool....

Haven't been able to trade for a Bilerot Vomitflesh, yet, so dug through my old stuff and am "zombifying" an old Greaser Geargrinder as the 6th zombie! He might even look good next to the Mechanithralls (if I ever get them together)....

The only time I've actually needed a sixth zed is when suffering early casualties.... I love it when I only need three for the line....

Norse wrote:I saw these a couple of weeks back and figured they would be perfect as Wights.. I just wish there were two different minis... :-?
*Explecitive deleted!* AND *DG smacks his forehead*

I've had the answer in one of my boxes all along!!!!

ImageImage
(both images from internet)

I pulled out Warmachine's "Skarlock" and placed it beside the Void Spirit... PERFECTION!
They are the same height/size and MADE to go with each other....

Thanks, Norse, I never forgot that reservation and now it's paid off!

See, folks, a little dissension is good for ya'...!

The final (even if it takes a year or two to get painted) piece in the All Privateer Press Graveyard All-Stars will be the Brute Thrall (for Golems):
Image

Since the head and arms are separate, I'm thinking of re-positioning the arms (sigh) and maybe using Morg's head, if it's about the same size, so as to have two different sculpts....

Appreciate the thought, but it's gotta be a trade....

I'm about a third the way done with zombifying Greaser and he's lookin' good....

Well, a rough day on the field... but I won the above pictured "Skarlock" for a veritable song, on Ebay (aka: Eslay (my wallet))....

Hopefully I can get the Void Spirit to a reasonable standard to coincide with him... or maybe get him painted by the same guy... hmmmmm....

A deep bow and thanks to those who are helping me clear out the old minis and bring in the new....

The "Steampunk" Necromancer Team (to sum up) is composed of the following:

Zombies:
1 box of Warmachine Mechanithralls (4 unique poses)
1 blister of (3) Warmachine Scrap Thralls (2 unique poses)
(this will give me 6 unique zombies with 3 leftovers)

Wights:
1x Warmachine Skarlock
1x Hordes Void Spirit

Ghouls:
2x Wargods of Aegyptus (A,B or E,F) Ghouls

Golems:
2x Warmachine Brute Thralls (I'll sub either Morg/Ork 40k Doc's head on one)

Werewolves:
Not totally sure.... Either two different "arm"ed versions of the reaper Jesse Moonwalker... or... two different models from West Wind Productions.... Or maybe something else that comes along in the meantime....

Markers (Turn/Reroll/Score):
1 pack (3 figs) Warmachine "The Withershadow Combine"

Igor:
1 pack (4 figs but I'm thinking of putting them together on a larger base) Warmachine "Necro-surgeon & Stitch Thralls" + "Doc Killingsworth"

Slow to paint, but it WILL be a fabulous theme team!!!!

(hmmmm, wonder if I should start playing Warmachine.... :o )

Digger, Could you post a pic of the Void Spirit next to a 'standard' gw bloodbowl fig, or something similar please? Just for a size comparison :D

No pic capacity... and I forget where I put the info, but here goes:

The void spirit has the same "heft" and "girth" as a 3rd edition BB fig.... Due to the way the VS is made (round integral "base" made to fit into a 30mm show base) it could sit directly on the field with no problem... if so, then it is the same height as a based pestigor.... If you put it on a regular gw 25mm base, then it is raised just that much.... Then the nose of the VS is equal with the top of the pestigor....

Even with the VS based, a Khemri Mummy stands head above it....

Favorable in my opinion... ymmv....

Ok, opinion piece time: I'm still fiddlin' round with Werewolves and concepts.... I've come sorta full circle, back to GW and their current offerings of Vampire Counts, Dire Wolves.... What are peoples thoughts on the following:

Doom Wolf:

and

Dire Wolf:
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... GameStyle=

Admittedly it's more wolf than were... but might they work...?
