Does it have to be GW model?

How do you varnish your mini(s) ? I'm not having good results lately with "various brands". And spraying is probably not a good idea because of the humidity... :(

Basing needs to be done, including number + name. But I'm satisfied so far.

Looks like it could "high five" with Gus' zombie

looking at the figures being put in, the winner of this team is going to get a great looking team.

Yes. He had a sword IIRC in that one first, cut off the hand and replaced it, GS-ed a bracer to hide the seam.

JaM,

I used to use GW gloss from the pot for protection then their matt, also from the pot, to dull the shine. Now that their matt pots are gone, I've bought some Vallejo matt varnish to use over my remaining GW gloss but have yet to use it so dunno if it'll turn out okay. Unfortunately this zombie orc is going to be my guinea pig as I have no spare mini's to practice on.

btw, wish I could green stuff shoulder pads like that. My orc has blobs on his shoulders :(

thanks for the advice, I'll try that.

The shoulderpad is a GW Marauder (whfb) shoulderpad... I can GS a bit, but not THAT. :)

The model is a GW WHFB ghoul. This is a "spare" I had.
