Post by Amon242 »

Just checking in for the first time on the message boards. I've played blood bowl for a good 7 years with pretty much the same 4-7 people. I have a solid grasp of the basics of the game, but I still need to learn some rules and rulings. By reading the posts this looks like a good place to get questions about the game answered and hear about some different offensive and defensive tactics that you could try. I'm looking forward to your help.

Amon

I was tempted to comment on the avatar too, but then it struck me - what if the poor guy really looks like that?

But then again...

The joys of working for a job where you are on call and on line 24/7 and most of your work is spend 1 hour setting it up and then waiting 20 minutes while the program runs. :D

As for the tactics library ... sorely out of date ... needs a MASSIVE overhaul. My understanding is that Blood Bowl Mag will start running tactics articles for each race with each issue ... looking forward to them.

Who will be writing these articles? Can we pressgang Marcus, Acerak, Balrog, et al., to write them? I wasn't terribly impressed with Andy Hall's article in CJ about setup formations for example... it seemed to make a few schoolboy errors - like setting up players against the side of the pitch.
