Re: Flame Bowl III Team-mates
The level of hubris on display here from the Guileless Blood Bowl League is astonishing.

Re: Flame Bowl III Team-mates
I thought it was their desperateness to win their own tournament*. I heard that Geoff went as far as running his own tournament to field test new rules for this years Waterbowl. Pretty much sums up the whole league reallyPippy wrote:Not sure what I find most pitiable about the Waterbowl self-love affair... Could it be the charmlessness? The bitterness? The Manchesterunitedness?

*as you said, a combination of all three

I laughed out loud (genuinely) at 'Joemingey'. Can some admin change his name or something?
Jaminy - Wait for Captain Stick's announement on the final lineup. It will be legendary. Oh yes.

Hit the nail on the head there, sadly.
Capes would be most amusing. You'll need 8 I think.
Hang on, just received this from the ever-inspirational stick. He's asked me to pass it on:
Dear Water-isle-bowl-cockney-castle-pincocks,
I write to you to express my deepest preemptive sympathies for the events that will occur on November 27th and 28th this year. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any loss of face or bruising of egos that may result.
Those who tasted sour grapes last year may find this year's humble pie only slightly more palatable.
Yours belligerently
Captain Stick
Wow he really means business!

What's up Pip?? Still sore about shipping 5?
As for "Sticks" inspirational message - who are you trying to kid? The last time Stick summoned enough energy to write anything was a letter to Santa!!

Did the 5-1 make up for your 1/0/5 in Bologna?
No Stick has really stepped up to the role. Even we GBBLers are suprised by the infectious energy he has brought to the team!

Re: Flame Bowl III Smack Talk
I have that letter, Geoff.
"Dear Santa,
I don't want for much, I'm a simple lad. One day, could you fix it for me (this letter has been copied to Jimmy - too much effort to do a fresh one) to work in a small, industrious East Midlands City? Preferably not Nottingham, Lincoln or Derby?
Other than that, sweat bands, this and every year. And a crack pipe.
Hugs and kisses,
Sticky."
