Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
great show, you guys get better and better.
In particular your guest hosts really shined in this one. Tom is always great to listen to and Martin, is, well just a great listen. If I had just one complaint its that 2 great guest can only share so much airtime!
btw, did you notice that Martin completely left you guys open for an upcoming Team Review show, I hope to hear him when the Underworld Creepers get their treatment!
anyways, well done and I'm pulling for a Three Die Block Bloodbowl, mostly cause I don't like Orc teams, but it'd be fun to have one of you be able to hold something big over the other....

True but, as it stands, I will play them in my dreams forever. FOUR starting Guard!voyagers_uk wrote:I bet you wish you had jumped on the bandwagon when they were 6 3 3 8 Block Guard Regen 90k and you could have 4 of them up front..
We absolutely did notice and Martin will be returning to 3DB in the future, no doubt...though maybe not exactly in the way you predict...Drool_bucket wrote:btw, did you notice that Martin completely left you guys open for an upcoming Team Review show, I hope to hear him when the Underworld Creepers get their treatment!

Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
Hey all!
I downloaded all the 3dbs for a recent holiday to NZ and listened to about 20+ over the course of the holiday (lots of flying time and coach journeys!) and thoroughly enjoyed them.
One thing I noticed though is that there doesn't seem to be a review of the Norse... or have I missed it?
Also, for when the Amazons 2.0 review comes up, would be interested to hear you thoughts on a catcher/passer-less build, ie 4 blitzers, 8 linewomen and either 4 rerolls or three and an apoth, with 40k left over for first purchase. I find I very rarely pass with them and the passing/ag access isn't all that important to me. While leader is desirable on a linewoman piece as it consitutes a 'cheaper' reroll in TV, each of kick, wrestle, fend, block and sure hands are gen access, and I only really want guard/mighty blow/tackle on my blitzers, all of which are straight up gen or str access. The only skill I think I'd really want on AG chart is diving tackle, and a specialist linewoman can do that for me on a double, or a tackling/mb blitzer. Just a thought.
Cheers from Delhi!
Steve

Re: Three Die Block - Blood Bowl Podcast
Steve - the Norse episode was around #4 or so (very early) and it is the ONE 3DB I missed (because of a summer camp job/vision quest) so it may be some listeners favorite for thast reason.
We will get to both Norse and Zons again! Quick Zon thought - I like the Throwers and Catchers simply because I want to develop the throwers as Dump-Off specialists. Might not work but I'm going to find out!
