Can you quote? There's a registration wall.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Re: Next playoff match
D'oh forgot about that!
---
When the league officials announced what the inducements amount would be in this critical match, coach swilhelm turned to a circle of coaches he talked with via fiber optic crystal ball and asked for ideas.
The suggested a wizard and some merc named "Setekh", because he is "good at knocking the ball loose."
Just before kickoff. coach swilhelm went looking for this particular piece of rotting flesh, and couldn't find anyone answering to the name. Some other skeleton (?) with an equally unpronounceable name, Nebba...kadabra...? however was asking for the same amount of money, so the coach figured what the heck.
Believing this game would see a lot of blood spilled, when given the choice, the Metabolically Challenged decided to receive.
This ended up being a good choice, as the MC's wolves managed to score two CAS in the opening turn...those would be the only CAS they would score all game. Asked about it later, Krimlarg stated, "They were filling."The Murderers would put up a solid defense, but down two men the Challenged managed to drive for a score. The stout defense did force the Challenged to score with barely enough time left for the Murderers to answer - but the MC defense held.
Going into the second half, things were still in the air. The MC had scored, but now their defense had to hold...and they still had the wizard ace in the hole.
In the first turn, the murderers managed to live up to their names and CAS two players themselves.
Looking at their setup though, cage at midfield, coach swilhelm saw it was time to break out the fireball.
This managed to knock lose the ball and CAS star Murderer Thrower Hark Balltosser. The Challenged swarmed to the ball, and Rex the Grim managed to come up with it. Sure enough the Murderers answered and a scrum developed around the ball.
Star Murderer Runner Stump Junkman managed to come up with the ball though, and almost put it out of reach for the Challenged. At this point, merc Nella Waifer had to dodge, sprint, and throw a one D block. But he had two aces in the hole - Break Tackle and Strip Ball. And sure enough he managed to knock the ball lose...out of bounds...to finally land at mid field right in front of a wide open Robin the Unjust. He managed to scoop the ball up in his nimble fingers and sprint for the end zone. The Murderers tried to contain him, but he did his patented double Madden 2011 juke to give the MC a 2-0 advantage.
With enough time for 1 more score, the game looked good for the MC, and while the sweltering heat left them with no wolves on the pitch, they also had a player number advantage.
Both teams put in their best effort to get the last score, but rising MC Ghoul Jane Russell would end up scooping up the ball and scoring to end the game.
Final Tally
MC 3TDs 3 CAS - Murderers 0 TD 5 CAS

Re: Next playoff match
Ok, championship game tonight!
FG: Block
FG: +ST, Block, Guard
Wight: +AG, +AG, Guard, Dodge
Wight: +AG, MB, Guard, Tackle, SF
WW: Block, Dodge, MB, PO, SS
WW: Block, Dodge, MB, Dauntless, Skill Up
GH: Block, Dodge, SH, Skill Up
GH:, Block, Dodge, Guard, -MA
Zx2: Wrestle
Zx3: Rookie
Now, speaking of the playoffs, this is for the league championship, so I am highly interested in getting a skill that is immediately useful. My opponent, vampires;
V: Block, Dodge, Guard
V: Block, Dodge, Guard, SF
V: +MA, Block, Dodge, Guard, Tackle
V: +MA, Block, Dodge, -AV
T: Wrestle, Leader
T: Wrestle, Strip, Fend, -AV
T: Wrestle, Tackle, Fend, -AV
T: Kick, Wrestle
T: Block, Tackle
T: Rookiex4
I've gotten a few suggestions on other boards, and tackle on both the Ghoul and WW is the most common advice...

Tackle! You're low on it, and he's got lots of expensive ST4/Dodge!
Or Side Step, just because it's the power choice. But I'd take Tackle.

Re: Next playoff match
I think you should definitely pick Tackle for the werewolf, just because with Dauntless he's going to be awesome at going after the vamps. Looking ahead Tackle is a nice pick on a WW as they make great safeties with Frenzy and high move. Tackle is a good skill for safety types.
For the Ghoul I think Tackle is a waste on the longer term. You also have more than one Tackle already so I think I might lean towards Side step. But if you only want to win this match, then take Tackle. Side step will obviously help in the next match as well. Blodging side steppers are awful.
