Change the Kickoff Table, I hate Pitch Invasion and Blitz (to name but 2) with a passion!! See the tables in Phil's LPL for a hugely improved model IMO.

The Handicap table sucks, 'nuff said

Yes.... the Kick-Off Table could be a good crusade also... if only I knew what I really want.!!..

Because I really don't like a game changing so much just in a dice roll, but I like the idea of some chaos...
hum...

Perhaps if there is some way of teams bringing in more chaos (not obligatorily more casualities)... and a softier KOT... but Blitz is good for Over Time....

Joquim, i dont remember the subject (other than the discussion was about ko charts) , but there is a pretty good d66 kickoff chart somewhere here.

Agreed Joaquim, I just know I want something else, and the LPL has convinced me that "something else" can be better!

I should have put that link in myself Phil, these tables are a hell of a lot better than that one bog-standard tired old table that we have to work with at the minute
Thanks mate :)

they need an edit here and there, but i'm not changing them during the lpl's running season... i'll have them "perfect" before i'm done, though.... and the nice thing is that the ideas and mechanics can be transposed to any other venue with just a little rewording... someday i'm going to finish my "famous stadiums of the old world" set as well... at that point, the idea may catch on a little better...

Enough of this now, start your own topic! I mean this is all very interesting (really), but let's keep this a crusade only topic please.

Fixing some of the ungodly unbalanced stuff in the Kickoff table. (I'm looking at you, Blitz and Riot.)

Giving the Big Guy-less teams a chance against the Big Guys. (I mean...what does a rookie Amazon or Norse team do against a Troll? Really, they may as well be bloody Halflings since all they can do is pray it throws double Skulls.)

Colour-coded base rings would be nice to see in the rulebook, even as an optional.

A full clean-up and rewrite of the rulebook. Reorganize the whole damn thing properly, instead of the slapdash it is now.

RERELEASE THE GAME PROPERLY, instead of some half-ass effort like "NEW FROM GAMES WORKSHOP: LORD OF THE RINGS and Blood Bowl rereleased"

No more minis-before-teams.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

In Canada, being influenced as much by the UK as by the US, we use both. Big deal.
