:bump:

round 2, ARBBL, is this weekend. I think* there might even be some room left if you wanted to come along :)

*See Darkson and his tourney thread, as I haven't actually looked at the numbers and am doing what I normally, ie make shit up :)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

About 10 spots, and some of the top spots not attending, so a chance to climb the table.

With so many stunties coming to ARBBL I may have revise the scoring system for Stunty SWTC.

Stats to be updated soon - I need to send the final placings to Al, then he'll need to update them.

Updated the Stunty points and updated with ARBBL scores.
Well done to Cracol for topping the table after round 2.

Given that the scoring for the Stunty has now changed why not just tidy it up and apply the 'at least two different team' rule as well?

The only ones affected would be BigBelcher and I and we have taken two different teams anyway.

It's just my, borderline OCD, desire for 'neatness'

However, when you put it like that it does look like gamesmanship, :o

I have no fear of either, i've seen their Kung-FU and it is weak :D TBH, I will definitely make Gert Bowl to have the three qualifying tournaments but between prior commitments and the impending arrival of Baby No.2 in late summer its not looking good for making Cake, ACC or Exiles; which will put a bit of a crimp in my overall competitivness.

i dont think anyone who knows you would accuse you of that.

The 2 race rule was "relaxed" in the case of stunties as most stunty coaches prefer just one flavour (Myself = Gobbo's. Gazza = Ogres. Pug = Flings. Ect) whereas most "Conventional" coaches like to vary teams by event / ruleset, it was never designed to give anyone an advantage.

Who is this Gazza anyway? from up here is hard to see that far down!! 8)

Ill accept any decision, but what you may find is it will reduce the Stunty competition...

In hindsight it probably wasn't worth mentioning. It wouldn't change much other than whether it is a test of the Coach and his chosen Stunty race vs. An overall Stunty Coach. The main tournament would seem to be driving towards the latter (i.e. overall coaching rather than Elf/Undead/Norse coaching), so for consistency I suggested the same for the Stuntys

My flavour hopping is due to my desire to do the 24 and therefore take a different race to each event.
This year I decided to do the Stuntys. It possibly means I am a 'conventional' coach using Stuntys rather than a Stunty coach!

One way or the other I'm loving playing the Stuntys they are really fun to play and every game I've had in the last two tournaments has been interesting. I am looking forward to upgrading my 'Underworld' Gobbos to proper Gobbos and getting a 2nd Troll and some chainsaws  for Gert Bowl.

I hope whatever happens that it doesn't reduce the Stunty Competition. 25% stunties at a tournament, has that happened before?

ARBBL attracts Stunties, no idea why. This year was slightly boosted by a bet BigB and Moodygit had with DeeTee, in that they'd discussed him converting a halfling team (and nice they were), and if he brought them, they'd take flings to. Otherwise they'd have taken "proper" teams. Also Lycos switched at the last moment.

I'd have to check, but I think we had 8 or 9 last year in a field of 46.

Just checked, and counting the Stunty Cup Lizzie team, we had 13 stunty teams out of 46 at the 2012 event! :o
