I would love a trip back to York, its been too long since my uni days. However, it very much depends on getting a weekend pass from the family... not easy. Maybe if I offer it as a World Cup alternative I'll be able to come (or else, maybe I'll get an Italian trip instead )
Train or car from Huntingdon isn't too bad.

It's a good, cheap train to York from down our way (a good location for most, I suspect). I'm sure the league could muster a team if you start nagging them now. Even if not, I'm sure there will be at least one Barbarians side.
It's perhaps high time the HDWSBBL make their presence known and whooped those Blackshirts and Geordies. Not the Waterbowl, mind, obvs.
Phil, as someone closing in on the HDWSBBL superbowl you're definitely one of us now! We'll let you off for the World Cup but not here!

York is super easy to get to from Manchester airport aswell. There is a train direct from the airport itself, and the venue in York is 5 minutes walk from the railway station!

An update from Italy.
The UKTC should take place exactly between 2 important italian tourneys (Piada e Prosciutto Cup and Royal Rumble).
"Should" means the dates for those tourneys are not fixed yet.
If one of those 2 moves from their traditional date to the 10-11 week-end, than it's unlikely that we can make a team.
If the dates for 2015 stay the same we already have one team and a half ready to come.
