And I'm done with the display tray for my Necro/Undead team!

Better photos to follow as soon as possible in an individual thread or on the "show us your teams" thread.
Next stop: the Twilight Zone! I.e., no idea on what I will work on next but methinks a short break is in order...

Progress! I'll add numbers to their shoulders and put grass on their bases once the rest of the team is complete (which at this rate will be some time in 2020).

Working on Halflings... did a test one on the little mini that the treeman holds and really not sure about the white!

It just looks way more grubby than I've seen others do! might have to change the colours

Some nice conversions in there, fred. I like the use of mixing the 2nd and 3rd edition plastics in.fred7 wrote:My chaos pact team...must add one thrower and some mutants.

Layer over layer over layer.connexion wrote:White can be a bitch to paint. Like yellow.
Also, with yellow, start with a mix of 1/4th foundation (like Iyanden Darksun or whatever) 3/4th colour (like Sunburst Yellow), 2nd layer, 1/10th foundation, 9/10th colour, 3rd & subsequent layers just the colour, until you're satisfied (then highlighting etc.). In this way, the foundation in the mix makes the colour covering without overtaking it.

Expectedly surprising paint job... very creative..., expectedly unsurprising choice for a tournament... very... "un"...creative....

Yeah, I considered that while I was picking them. For about 4 seconds...Digger Goreman wrote:Expectedly surprising paint job... very creative..., expectedly unsurprising choice for a tournament... very... "un"...creative....

This was my first tournament ever, and I'd played a total of two post-3rd edition games in my life, so I let myself of the hook on the cheese factor. I still finished 1w 2t 3l, so I doubt anybody's gonna accuse me of cheap tactics.
(...Also, thanks!)
