Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
I'll start this paint log thread with some pictures of my primary team (not my first painted team), the Agramonte All Stars (who double as Necro/Undead depending on the situation).
The mandatory group shot:
The coaching staff & the Wizard inducement:
All miniatures from Heresy Miniatures except the Cheerleader (GW).
The positional players (& the Igor inducement):
All miniatures from Heresy Miniatures except the Wights (GW) and the Mummies (Willy)
Skeletons & Zombies:
The skeletons are from Otherworld Miniatures (converted) and the Zombies are miscellaneous GW plastics.
Lots of stuff coming up depending on my (free) time...

A couple of inducements: the Super Block Babe (a.k.a. Bloodweiser Babe, miniature from Impact!) and a Black Orc Wandering Apothecary (from Bilbali Cup)

These I use as FAME markers. The "fake troll" (painted in the colours of my goblin team and those of the Skavenblight Scramblers) and the dwarf (painted in the Portuguese team colours) are from Willy Miniatures, the Orc mother & sprog (painted in Dutch team colours) are from Bilbali Cup.
Coming up next: the media!

As promised, the representatives of the media on the pitch side-lines!
Motty, the goblin, always in the thick of the action come sun or snow:
(miniature from Impact!
Jim and Bob, the legendary game commentators, and Taratino the CabalVision camera goblin:
(miniatures from Hungry Troll)
Coming up next... Who knows, maybe another team?

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
Thanks guys!
If I have a bit of time I'll try to take a couple of photos of my goblin team, the Xalupas de Massarelos, this afternoon. Not as good as paintjobs go (they were my first team, way back in 2004 or so...) but the old boys deserve their place in the sun. Then it'll be the turn of the Estrelas de Cinfães (Human, sort of 2005?), the Mandelbrot Marauders (Chaos Pact, circa 2009?) and finally the Lightning Vixens (Wood Elf, 2012-13).
Current W.I.P.:
- Tumbling Rocks (Dwarfettes, Warlord Miniatures)
- another FAME marker (an elf babe)
- "stuff"

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
As promised, what was effectively my first BB team, the goblins Xalupas de Massarelos. Painted sometime during 2006 or earlier, I used only GW plastics and, not wanting to spend too much in a game I was barely starting, I shared a box of ogres to build the team trolls.
Certainly not my highest standard of painting, even for the time, and I always hated painting plastics (weight, not enough detail, etc) so they ended up a bit of a rush job and the ogres/trolls came out a bit of a mess. Even so, I'm still quite happy with some parts of the end result:
- the cheerleader conversion
- the coach
- the detail of the goblin with the gold teeth
- the bag of bombs on the bombardier
- the skin colour (lifecolor medium green) which became my standard for goblin skin tones, avoiding the classic bright green.
Group shot:
The coaching staff:
Yes, the coach is a gnoblar and the apothecary is a high elf - might explain why the team's apothecary is so reliable, I suppose.
The trolls:
The (mandatory) secret weapons:
And, finally, last but not least, the boyz:
The (simple) counters:
And this is how I started playing BB around 4th edition. As you may guess i started in the most frustrating way possible (at least I wasn't playing with 'flings...) and didn't exactly make things easier when I decided that my second team would be Chaos Pact (which may be the object of the following photo post in this thread).

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
Nice stuff mate, congrats!
As frustrating as we all know coaching Gobbos can be, you actually did ok with them back then!
Those kamikaze goblin long passes that NUFFLE ironically allowed to happen, managed to keep every team on their toes when playing against them.
You should pitch them more often for fun sake.
Cheers

The good old days in which throwing a team-mate was not a Pass action...Those kamikaze goblin long passes that NUFFLE ironically allowed to happen, managed to keep every team on their toes when playing against them.
Note: edited above to include a group shot and replaced the Agramonte All-Stars group shot as well.

Re: Connexion's teams and miscellaneous miniature painting
One of the things I sometimes toy around with is creating my own Star Players and, more often than not, the idea for a Star Player comes from a miniature that I have worked on (or am working on) and which may even not be a BB miniature. Here are four which are in a finished state painting-wise and "almost finished" rules-wise.
Rules and discussion can be found here.
