New to the site from kingston, Surrey, England
Hi all,
Loved the game as a teenager, and am getting back into table top version and fumbbl. Playing with my 9 yr old boy. Have purchased several teams via ebAy.
Any one from Kingston, Surrey

You work in Central London. If so there is the ECBBL league at the Masons Arms Great Dover Street

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I work in Kingston too! So central London a bit far especially as finish work at 6ish. But I'll see what I can do during hols.
And a lego fan I see...me likes.

Heya mate. I'm in Wimbledon and there are a few others I know of dotted around south london area. Getting to the eccbl could be a bit of a pain for you but I highly recommend coming at least once to say hi. Even if you couldn't commit to the league there are often people looking for an open game.
Give me a shout if you fancy a game sometime. What teams do you play?

Hi, "Biting Blade' i'm from Kingston too, and have also been looking for leagues around the area?
Unfortunately, as mentioned the nearest one is in Central London!
There's also a tournament coming up in July, near Waterloo Station. So not far from us in Kingston.
Have been toying with the idea of a Kingston League, if there are enough people interested out there...
However if your interested in friendly games until such time, let me know.

Hi Joe.D.B,
the travel really isn't too bad. If you can get a train to Vauxhall, you just need the Victoria line up to Warren St. then it is a short walk (or if you are lazy like us up to King's Cross and then circle line to Gt. Portland Street. There's 4 of us that make a similar trip every week and it takes about an hour.
Not to say don't start a Kingston league (if you do please avoid a Tuesday so I can come!), but just letting you know it's not as painful as you might first think!
But definitely come to Pearlies in July. There will be a lot of good people there.

Yeah gonna sign up to Pearly Kings soon, really want to start playing B.B. again. In my opinion it's the best stand-alone game GW did, and i've built up quite a collection of the mini's over the years. So should actually start playing it again...
So you guys play Tuesday nights at the Mason Arms? Is that every week? Cause your right it isn't really that far from Kingston, and would probably be a good idea to get in a few games before Pearly kings to brush up on the rules and work out what team to play? Probably go for a Stunty team for shits any giggles! + not gonna be to embarrassed getting hammered with 'em!!

Yes there are people there every week. On the ecbbl forums look in the fixtures section and you can see who will be there. Post there as well if you are looking for a friendly game. We're just getting to the end of the league part of the spring season so there are likely to be a few people without a game arranged that will be free to play.

Will be away next week but, that sounds like a plan! When does the next new league start, may be interested after a few warm up games to get back into it?

I think September, so enough time to get a few practice games under your belt in preparation.
