What's your oddity?
I thought I'd start something along the lines of Zombie's "What's your crusade?" discussion.
What do you find yourself doing more often than other coaches you know? It could be strange or risky plays, or something else. For me, I find that I intentionally pass the ball to empty squares more often than other people I know. I usually play fast teams and sometimes just throw to a relatively unoccupied corner where my guys can get there faster than the opponents. Other coaches look at me strange when I do it, but it seems to work for me.

Usually if I have a cake walk into the endzone (that is, can easily score) I will set up a screen of players around the endzone first, if it is reasonably easy to do so. This arises from the special play cards we still use. Ever since I first read "Is it a TD?" I have been paranoid of being in scoring position and being shunted into the crowd. Heck, I've only seen the card played about 3 times in several hundred games, but the fear remains.
It mostly comes from my other oddity, which is avoiding the sideline like the plague, and tied to this, blitzing anyone foolish enough to stand there. I really cannot usually resist the temptation to bash someone into the crowd, even though it will not get me any SPPs or score me a TD.
I think this can be traced back to the fact that I have introduced alot of people to the game and have always strived to help them improve their game play. Knocking over newbs looses its appeal quickly, and I really enjoy tough matches. So in the past I would give them advice (eg do NOT stand players on the sideline!!) and then if they still did I would make them pay for it. There is nothing like learning in this game of BB like getting your butt kicked for a mistake. I should know I've had it happen to me often enough in other areas of the game .

I find my-self doing the fat man touch dance everytime I kill someone( even though I am not fat) I mean kill blocking kill. It's so hard to get casulties now that I think it desrives a dance when you kill someone and get poitns for it

My oddity must be that i "forsee" that i am failing a roll, and especially rerolls.
So you are more likely to hear from me than any other coaches that, now i am certain to roll a double skull with my black orc or GFI in the endzone, it sure gonna be a 1 and so will the reroll.
(the scary thing is that these things actually happens after i say it will)
