Ah, I was just fooling around Phil. My latest team, orcs, was painted with colour-coded base rings and I think it looks pretty sweet.

Mine are coloured...somewhat halfass, but they are. :D

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

IMO star players suck! Why do we need them anyway. In the last edition they just seemed to lead to powergaming and took away from the strategy of play. Not as bad as 2nd edition Warhammer, but a pain in the arse nevertheless.
My crusade?
The inclusion of shaven-slave-dwarf lineman at 5000 a throw to any team that'll have them. They've got 1MA and cant pick up balls or block (being shackled). No good for Blood Bowl but be nice just for the laugh!

Well I havent even played enough games to witness PO being used, but it seems a bit OTT. And I agree that the interception rule is messed up.
The one thing that I have noticed could do with changing, is the way apothecaries work.
At the moment they are such a good choice I am yet to see a team without them (excluding undead)
So here's what I think would be a good revised version:

Apothecaries are freebooters, much in the same way as wizards, but are considerably cheaper, and as such are often kept with teams almost as a permanent addition. To hire an apothecary costs 10,000GC (per game) and they function in almost the same way as they do at the moment. The only change is that if an apothecary has been with a team for more then one game, then they are allowed to use team re-rolls.

Well I think that would work a lot better, but I'm still getting experience at BB.

That could be very interesting. I wouldn't go for that "can use reroll" bit though.

my crusade is to houserule more inter-match events : as training, dirty tricks,sponsoring...rolling for skills and buy players is just not enough in a league!
and it makes the teams so much more alive!

and it makes the game less about the game, and more about rolling a bunch of weird crap on tables...if that's what you like go for it. :)

Don't scrap the undead! They were the first team I purchased (after the game) and I'm very attatched to them.

If they are being scrapped, then make the mail order trolls should inform people who are calling and want to purchase them: Let them make an informed decision please! How :pissed: would you be if you got them now only to find that in a few months you may not be able to use them?!

Sort out Wild Animal.

At least (if nothing else) let them count support from team mates.

I think I'll add a minor crusade to the list:

This new rule about interceptions :pissed: prior :o to the passing attempt seems so incredibly retarded to me that I'd really like to know who came up with such a crappy idea (by no means meant offensive :smoking: ).

I think my favourite crusade is the 4th one, where the Chrisitians sacked Constantinople.

What, they are Christian too?

I know, that's really lame.
