Wow...
Absolutely gorgeous teams!

There's no way I'd ever place any of those in the same table of a bloodbowl pitch (let alone use them to play).

I Realized the importance of bases and how much important is to use/mix the same colors for all part of the mini in highlight and shadowscornishwoon wrote:What was the big learning from your early undead to your later work? Both are good, but the new stuff really sets a high bar on blends. Lots to aspire to.

So you use the same base colour in some quantity throughout your graded shading? Start with a base then darken and lighten, or start dark to light? Just a black undercoat?pixmen wrote:I Realized the importance of bases and how much important is to use/mix the same colors for all part of the mini in highlight and shadowscornishwoon wrote:What was the big learning from your early undead to your later work? Exactly !cornishwoon wrote:So you use the same base colour in some quantity throughout your graded shading?
I prefer to start with dark then light. But it's just a matter of preferencecornishwoon wrote:Start with a base then darken and lighten, or start dark to light?
No waycornishwoon wrote:Just a black undercoat?
=>White undercoat. I don't light black undercoat, it makes the different layers of paintings too dark.
