Yep, most catchers take it in my league after they get block/dodge (if available).

I'm mental? That's a bit of a strong word...

In any case, in all my games of MBBL and MBBL2 I have rarely seen anyone take NoS, and I have never seen it used. I took it on a Bretonnian catcher and he ended up never using it either. Now I agree that it can be very useful, but I've never seen it, and I play a lot of BB.

I guess it all depends on the environment, like many other things in BB.

Just one thing about the new elves; if they are meant to be the professional players, and the old high elves are the morons in idiotic overly weighty armour, then why can these morons run just as fast and do the professional line elfs have the worst statline of all elves...

The thing is, i like those discussions about the new stats but i really think until they're released, you can't guess what it's gonna be...Or maybe if we take a look at the way they did the rotters. For me professionnal (as Jervis described them) means they could start with more skills or even traits. i just hope it's not gonna be pro, dodge or piling on  for every players. But it should be a great starting team (full of skills since the begining)

I find that even with NoS the catcher as posted is not uber strong. Compare him to a Witch Elf, for 10k less he gains 1 MA but loses a trait, seems ok to me.

In any case, I find this roster extremely interesting, much better then the current HE roster IMO.

I'm guessing this years rules update will be a major thing with a lot of updated teams and rules. I'm guessing they might remove the high elf and wood elf teams and just have one (normal) elf team and the dark elf team (with block, dauntless, Gen-Str-Ag Dark Elf Blitzers!) :) Probably add the ogre team, khemri, vampire, necromantic and old world/chaos pact teams, remove Amazon and undead (as well as Woods and Highs).

Oh and Nurgle teams added :P

The chance of them removing the amazon team is just below nill.

Not with offical rules and minis already made.

Pretty much the same can be said for the other elf teams. Why the old undead team is going away is compleatly beyond be. I suspect someone in marketing has been smoking strange plants. Hopefully the BBRC will put their foot/feet down and keep them as the dead guys pact team.

Heh, just look at the old undead team, official rules and minis and they're getting 'killed off'

With a new style of minature coming out most of the teams will be getting a change, so old minatures won't be a major loss to GW, especially if they aren't big sellers (assuming Amazons aren't).

Why do you think Amazons are going to the rubbish pile, especially with the Zara Star player coming out, i think you may be jumping the gun a bit

GW Won't put any teams on the "rubbish" pile before they've got at least 3 teams to replace it with...
