Norse presents...
I don't have time to do proper pictures, but here is a snap of my JUST finished UnderWorld team, the Warpstone Weasels, which I will be fielding tomorrow in Harrisburg. These are all GW plastic kitbash other than the Necromunda rats as score/turn/RR counters. Some of these models were assembled 15+ years ago and only just now got a lick of paint..
not the best pic, but I'm really happy with how they turned out. I can field 11 players plus Glart, and yes, my Troll also bought Claw as an upgrade.
Hope you like 'em...

Well, I had some new doctor playing around with my back, Thursday, so A friend and I may show, but not to play.
I'd like to meet, tho...Any thoughts on that?

I agree about charity tourneys being the best Every year when the Mike Kriger tourney comes up, I am happy to put in the work.Norse wrote:Yep, 4 Diamonds tourney tomorrow, you not playing? Best tourney in the US, plus all for charity too!

Looking nice. I'd love to see some close-ups.
The only thing I'm not sold on is the colour fur for the ballcarriers, but then again that might look better from closer up!
I like the colour choice for the kit!

Re: Norse presents...
thrower fur is white, linerats are brown, stormvermin are black
I seem to recall from a LONG way back that white rats are considered lucky in Skaven culture. I think having MA7, Pass and Sure Hands for only 20K more than a linerat makes them pretty lucky..

sure, I'll be the only Scotsman at the event, not too hard to find. I'll likely be on the bottom tables using the F word ever other word.bound for glory wrote:

Re: Norse presents...
seems I missed you bfg..
on the other hand, my UnderWorld had a great day, picking up 2 wins a draw and finishing around 5th out of 38. I was astonished at how well they were able to compete, probably helped by the fact there was not a single Dorf or Chorf team in attendance.
even more pleasing was the best painted award I got.. finishing those 4 goblins in the nick of time was a stroke of genius it seems..
I'll try to get better pics when my lightbox is set up

The club mate who I was driving up with had car problems, so we stayed home.
Sorry I missed you, mate. Glad you had a good time. Was it your first time in the keystone state? What did you think?

Re: Norse presents...
my 8th time at the event.
I like PA as a rule.. it has a down to earth, blue collar quality which reminds me of my homeland. Simple, unpretentious, good people. Not a fan of Philly at all, but I like Harrisburg a lot.
