hi guys,

My accommodation fell through and wanted to know more about the camping situation. how much does it cost? also what's the story with facility on site is there toilets do you need to bring loo roll are there showers or should i pack wet wipe? is there anything important to know. I have never been camping before so I have no idea what's needed.... any help would be gladly received and paid for in beer!

- 24 hr access to the toilets/sinks in the venue
- Paid (£2?) access to the showers in the sports centre (5 min walk)
- Bacon sandwiches (free!) in the mornings
- Friday night BBQ, bring your food to be cooked
- Bring lots of booze for Friday night, then buy from the venue during Saturday

I was actually tuning in here to check on the food situation Trumpkin.

While I can't remember how we ordered, last year there was a pie selector for the meaties and you got pie and chips as one meal, with buffet type things for the lunches. There was also a sweet pie selector which seemed to be enless (not in variety, but for someone who can eat fruit pie, there was plenty left over).

For the veggies, the organisers usually order in Pizza, which could be a bit of an issue for a vegan.

I'm hoping that someone will stop by with an update for the current year though (although as a meatie, I'm happy with whatever they serve up, as I accidentally ordered the Meat and blue cheese pie last year and enjoyed that, despite not liking blue cheese... (NB: Incorrect order all my fault, as the options were clear and there were spare meat pies too))

Edit: Due to the deletion of a prior comment, I now look like I'm talking to my imaginary friend... All may be useful info still, so I'll continue to look like a loon (or maybe prescient, if Trumpkin re-posts his question in a second...)

Sorry, I wrote my comment then realised there was a page for food choices. I then emailed the organisers and deleted my comment! Looks like it's a selection of pies, which will probably be unsuitable for me (n.b. you can get vegan pies, but you have to look in the right places!).

But yes, I was asking if there was anything for vegans in particular, if not it's not a worry I can bring my own stuff.

I was really hoping Trumpkin was a figment of my imagination
