Check again ... the dice are still out but the minis show in stock now.

On my phone, I can't get it to put the Skaven in my cart. I went to full site view and when I try to load the rats I get a message window that says they aren't available.

The Rulebook is supposed to be released in PDF form on 11/25. However I think if you want the league optional rules you'll need to buy the death zone supplements. Or you could get a hold of the CRP rules which contain the last version of the LRB series and reported to be the new rules. You just won't get the new look and a couple of tweaks discussed
elsewhere.

Side note, does anyone know how involved JJ was in the relaunch?

My understanding is that he was involved about as much as I was. Andy asked me a few questions via Facebook on "why did you do X" and "what was the math behind Y". So if I understand correctly JJ wasn't involved more than just some fact checking moments. Which I think will be good. I'm not of fan of the Weeping Blades decision but I do think the game is in good hands with Andy.

This surprises me, somewhat, as I recall JJ'S insistence while we sat at the bar several years ago that this "is my game." Although I guess he takes his marching orders from up top. The fact that Andy asked you questions gives me hope that tweaks like weeping dagger will be few.

Well the new rulebook will not be as extensive as CRP I presume, but more like the 3rd edition rulebook. I.e. not containing all the skills and no league rules.
So a pdf with dz1 would be good too.
But we'll see.

My understanding was they were releasing the Legacy Teams only in the PDF.

But there must be rules for BB2 players somewhere, right?

The core rules for the game will be in the main Blood Bowl box along with league rules and nine rosters for the in Death Zone.

GW will be releasing all the remaining CRP rosters in a PDF on the 25th, including (Chaos) Pact and Underworld. Slann is not included but not prohibited since GW doesn't have mini's for them or mini's that can be proxied.

He's not wrong. The pdf is full of the extra teams, not rules.

Does BB2 coaches get a paper copy of the rules now that the CRP can no longer be found online then?

CRP can still be found online. On the NAF, for example: http://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/upload ... 6/CRP1.pdf

CRP is still linked on the Cyanide forum, so not sure why you think it can't be found online:
http://forum.bloodbowl-game.com/viewtop ... =61&t=6757

Still available in the "Files" section of the Facebook "Blood Bowl Community" page, ARBBL site, Exiles site...
