Agreed with the C-Dwarves, though I always classed the Bulls as there equivalent of a big guy, but trolls/minos don't make much difference and gives an extra bashy option if really wanted :)

My reason for suggesting a minotaur for Orcs was mainly because they fit in more with the Orc pysche. I would drop their option for an Ogre. Also I think Minos are less effective than Ogres and I think Orcs are powerful enough when they get going.

Changes I would make.

Ver1:
Amazon- None
Chaos- None
Chaos Dwarf- None
Dark Elf- None
Dwarf- None
Goblin- 1 troll and secret weapons
Halfling- 1 Treeman and 1 oger
High Elf- None
Human- None
Lizardman- None
Norse- None
Orc - None
Skaven- None
Undead- None
Wood Elf- None

or we can go the fluff rout and use this:
Amazon - Unicorn
Chaos - Minotaur
Chaos Dwarf - Minotaur
Dark Elf - Minotaur
Dwarf - Deathroller
Goblin - Troll
Halfling - Treeman
High Elf - Unicorn
Human - Ogre
Lizardman - Kroxigor
Norse -Minotaur
Orc -- Troll
Skaven - Rat Ogre
Undead - Mummies
Wood Elf - Treeman

Big Guys should be avalible to all teams or to very few teams.

I agree on that last point. For the sake of fairness all teams should have access, and I think that BG's should be available. They are part of the World and I for one want to see them on a pitch.

Redfang wrote:amazons do fine without Big Guy and have absolutely no need for one and I also don't see any reason at all for giving humans a Treeman
I agree with these two, also fluffwise the Amazons are just a too close community to have a Big Guy in their team and Humans are not simply not "good" enough (alignment-wise) for having a treeman join them.

Chaos Dwarfs really need the Big Guy position imo, Bull Centaurs are definitly no Big Guys (ST4, no Might Blow). If you take the Mino/Troll away, they'd need compensation much more than the Dwarfs.

Disagree. CD's with 2 BC's are as powerful as they should get. With a BG they are too strong.

That is silly. BC are not str5, do not have MB to strart with, and have no neg traits. They are clearly just another kind of Blitzer/Blocker. At 130k they cost more than a lot of Big Guys.

How does having two BC make them to strong when you add a BG?

It is like saying Orcs are to strong with their 4 BOB and a Big Guy? Both are str4 blitzers/blockers without block.

Makes perfect sense to me. I don't see any reason to deny CDs access to a big guy because of BCs. Some people look at BCs as big guys because they were grouped with them when they were introduced and not included on the team list as they are now.

I think all teams should have some option to take a big guy. It would be fine with me to make the ogre able play on any team as Morg orignially could. They would need a slight cost increase though to make it still worth it to take others on teams that have strength big guys already (kroxigor, treeman, etc.) Or maybe just open him up to the teams who can't currently take any big guy. Except Undead, they have enough S5 MB players as it is.

I think all teams should really have Big Guy access. It's not fair to the teams that get stuck without one, to have to face off against these huge ST5 players they can't do much about (High Elves, Dark Elves, Amazons) except hope they bone a roll and fall over.

If anyone doesn't need a Big Guy it's Orcs and Chaos. :-? They already have four ST4 players on the roster. A Big Guy is just cake.

Depends on the coach Bob, i did not need them but other coaches mite or mite just want them. I think they should be available. It should be a matter of choice. I have a style that doesnt always need them but other people may not enjoy that style of play. On the other hand in some leagues even good coaches that dont usually make use of big guys mite need to have one on the team just to deal with an arms race.
