New EXP/Ageing Rule

I really dislike the idea of a tr ceiling.

Aging should (as i see it) put a curb on the tr to stop the mega teams of 3rd edition. Target the better or so called problem players. This would provide a method of getting at the one turners who you can't block/foul etc and also encourage the cycle of building up new talent.

I don't think tr caps acheive this.

Me too. As a commish I will never allow TR/salary caps of any sort whether they are in the official rules or not. They make me

Soft limits such as those imposed by the current system are a lot better!

I'd like to see a system that targets team ratings of 300 instead of 200. I don't know about the people here but coaches I know like to play with teams in 200-250 range, and we don't like our players to be old geezers with broken hips.
What happened to that Ageing table I saw on here that gave people Bonehead, Peaked and Really Stupid? That looked like a good table to me. The TR ceiling is fine with me and so is skill based ageing as long as my players don't go from zero to suck in 60 seconds!

N TR ceilings won't necessarily stop the one turners, but if a Coach insists on keeping him over time when he becomes very expensive then he will be throwing all his eggs in one basket so to speak. The fact that one turners are able to exist shouldn't mean every other player has to suffer. Just cut that players basic movement.
