Old gw's chaos team

Hi guys, this is my last paintjob for a friend
I choose to use for this team a classic(for me) scheme of navy blue and gold plus the violet used for fur and the shadow of gold
I hope you like it

Love those colors. Really smooth. If I looked at the Chaos team I painted, I can't even believe they are the same set of minis!

Do you prime and/or base paint with an airbrush?

I was too bedazzled by the paints to even notice! Does make me question though, if you kept the same colors on the Beastman, but wanted the armor different on the Chaos Warriors? What colors would you use. Also, assuming you had the same painting skills as DOA, to make it all match! The only thing I can think of, is change the blue on the Chaos Warriors to all black. Maybe with some blue highlights to tie it back in with the Beastmen. Leave the purple/gold/silver bits the way they are though.

Okay, let me rephrase that...
"I don't like the blue skin on the beastmen, the blue armored warriors are awesome."

Maybe that is more likely to be understood as I initially meant it to be understood.

Ah, okay. I think I prefer the blue on the Beastman more than the Chaos Warriors, myself. Though what color would one paint the Pestigors then? Grey, green, etc. ?

Well, since I imagine those beastmen to have fur, I painted mine in brown.
I was actually to lazy to go for different fur colors. But in the end, all turned out so nice looking together, so I was glad I did it.
(My brushwork not even being anywhere close to DOAs incredible skills! Probably not even at bowshot range... )

Since this is the normal, undivided Chaos team, I'm pretty sure any color from black to white and brown would be cool.
Going with the blue armor, I think actually light gray to white skin would have looked awesome.

Pestigors for a Nurgle team though... I'm also struggling for ideas.
A Google picture search showed a lot of pale and green skintones.

No, basecoat is gw's black primer

For the blue... My friend asked to have the same colour on all the minis so cannot use metallic tone
