I think a purely conversion based team may alienate those who aren't to confident in their converting skills which I wouldn't want to happen, I think we should do a team where there is every possibility for converting, but it should not be compulsory.

C'mon, who here can't snip a weapon? Or add a spike or two?

Actually a prison themed human team wouldn't need much conversion. Just black and white horizontal stripes and a little number on thier backs.
Then the convo folks could also go nuts adding shackles, ball & chains, straight jackets, and jump suits.
Could be a Norse team so the ball and chain around their legs is secret weapon. The Blitzers could be the Deathrow inmates, the throwers are the bull queers and the catchers are the...well...you know...the guys with perty mouths!

And the coach could be sitting on the chair...

Should be something nice and different, I think...

And you could have executioners be the turn markers!

Cheerleaders would be funny!

Sounds like Norses 'Cops and robbers' themed CDs. The hobbos are cons with arrows on the uniforms, and the CDs are cops. The Bull Centaurs have stripes running along their sides a la cop cars. Really very different and cool.

With so many people wanting to go for a Big Guy, how about doing an Ogre team? :) Nice possibilities for conversions too.

I would be willing to do an ogre as will. That would be a good second team if we did two teams. Though I kind of like the idea of one team a year. Whoever won the ogre team would get quite the prize.

The prison team sounds really cool I'd love to have a go at that. Another idea...cheerleaders could be guards with 'boomsticks'.

I think we should send it to someone with a digitalcam so he could keep up everyone,

If we do a prison team we actualy could make a team of very different races, and then make one race that is the coach.. could be cool but then it won't be a legal team to play with, so if we want to do that I say we go for a "normal" team.

I'm all for the human prison team. Could make some cool conversions from the necromunda or mordhiem lines. :)

This time i would volunteer to collect the team. Shipping would be cheaper for Europeans and more expensive for US guys this time.

I have a digicam and some webspace.

But before starting we should set the rules (1 ticket per painter or entry, do Big Guys get a higher chance, do the x best painted minis get a higher chance, etc.).

I don't think some guys should have better chance to win... because else everyone wants to do bigguys and painting jobs are very much also a taste thing.

I think no and no.

1. Big Guys: These will be limited so it won't be fair to those that want to paint a big guy but can't because of team constraints. I believe if you paint a big guy you should be happy in the fact that you got that priviledge over others. And if you are unhappy about contributing a larger (hence more expensive) mini than everyone else and not get extra credit you should give the job to someone who doesn't mind.

2. Better painted minis: I think as long as everyone paints the miniture to the very best of their ability no matter what skill level they may be then they should have just as much chance to win as the better painter. They put in just as much work they simply don't have the same skill level.
